Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Vadodaraaa. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.  LeoFrank  Talk 16:57, 20 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to List of airports in India. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you.  LeoFrank  Talk 15:06, 22 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at List of airports in India, you may be blocked from editing.  LeoFrank  Talk 04:13, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Vadodara Airport and list of airports in India

edit

Vadodara Airport is an International Airport. I go to this airport very frequently and all these details you can find it on AAI website. Please stop adding fake details on both the pages. You are not the owner of any of these pages. I have visited Patna Airport recently and the authorities have told no international flights have yet started. I request please do not further revert my edits. Thank You Vadodaraaa (talk) 04:52, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

  You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Vadodara Airport. Samf4u (talk) 04:57, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Vadodara Airport. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.  LeoFrank  Talk 05:29, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

You have been sufficiently warned already regarding your edits. Please take your time and understand our policies on verifiable and reliable sources and also on original research. It is also the responsibility of the editor adding content to prove them. Consider this your last warning although by now, you should've been reported, I am still inclined to assuming good faith.  LeoFrank  Talk 05:34, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
It is quite clear that you are not logging into your account and have made these edits: [1] and [2]. Please note that this accounts for a violation of the sockpuppetry policy.  LeoFrank  Talk 07:20, 24 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Why don’t you guys understand Vadodara Airport is an International Airport. I’m a citizen of Vadodara. This airport has all the facilities as that of International Airport like immigration etc. I agree it has not yet started international operations the same case as that of Indore, Bhopal, Imphal etc. You say your work is based on reseach check out Srinagar and Patna Airport are mentioned as International Airport though they haven’t started any international flights yet. My work is based on research, I personally surf about the different airport and I have visited Patna Airport recently and it had not yet international operations, then how can you write it as an International Airport, you need to mention that it serves domestic flights only. Keshod airport has been closed and there are no furthur plans for this airport and you are writing it as an future airport. I request you to do some research on this topic. Waiting for your reply LeoFrank.

Please see WP:BURDEN. It isn't up to others to provide sources for your claims, it is up to you to provide them. Please read WP:CITE about citing sources. 331dot (talk) 15:37, 26 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

I’m leaving Wikipedia forever, there is no place for truth only experienced editors think that they are always correct and just to support those editors other editors block new editors like me, We haven’t got any right to edit pages. I know people like LeoFrank and other editors won’t understand what others are trying. Who the hell we are to edit. Leaving Wikipedia for ever. Hoping not to see you again.

That would be unfortunate. I don't believe anyone has said you are not correct, but we need a reliable source to support your claims. It would be a severe overreaction on your part to just leave instead of learning what you are not doing correctly and changing as a result, but that is your choice. 331dot (talk) 17:41, 26 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
