Mr Holroyd, I think that you might be interested (considering your comments at Talk:Horatio Kitchener, 1st Earl Kitchener of Khartoum) in a vote presently occurring at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Peerage, the vote being generally on the inclusion of the peerage title in the titles of biographical articles on peers. The first poll aims to decide whether peerage titles should in general be used or not. (Some have expressed the opinion that peerage titles are "antiquated appendages", and that Wikipedia ought not to use them in entitling articles.) The second poll aims to decide whether or not there ought to be exceptions to the rule of inclusion of peerage titles, assuming that the first poll requires them to be included. -- Clarence Threepwood, 9th Earl of Emsworth
Thank you for bringing that to my attention Lord Emsworth.
