Re:Code Geass

People's understanding would count as wp:original research. Summaries should be written from an objective point of view, dismissing theories and basing on what happens. Characters never mention that Lelouch became immortal and if he had become, he would have lost Geass like C.C. in the past. According to every character in the series' finale, Lelouch dies and nobody denies it. Wikipedia is not a place for interpretations, but rather is objective point of view. Its read in a rather subject point of view as it only to readers' expectations. Talking alone is pretty common in fiction and it was never confirmed that he gained immortality. Moreover, he was actually confirmed dead by his sister. This was already discussed in Talk:Lelouch Lamperouge where people also bring the director's comment, but without sources or anything.Tintor2 (talk) 10:56, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

So you will edit war rather than get to compromise ignoring guidelines? The consensus already established that fans' points of view should be avoided and that solid evidence should be presented on every part from the summaries. Moreover, the drama CDs from Lelouch's birthday and the bonus from the last DVD continue saying that Lelouch is dead, so speculations should be avoided. If not, fans could post their theories about anything like the fact that Darth Vader does not die or that Tobi is Kakashi Hatake's best friend. These speculations are more suitable for wikias or fansites rather than encyclopedias.Tintor2 (talk) 16:54, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

The play was obviously disconnected from the anime to make it appear look as an alternative universe until the ending where it is revealed it is happening after the series' finale. Moreover, the manga Nightmare of Nunnally confirms Lelouch's death near the ending while the manga based on the anime shows that the guy taking C.C. in the end wasn't Lelouch. As far as I see it, your point of view is a big Synthesis based on events never stated that happened in the series stating that Lelouch is immortal. I could go on with several parts as why Lelouch is not such as the fact that his skin became pale after losing his blood after Suzaku's final attack or that he still possesses his Geass in contrast to C.C. who lost it when gaining immortality, but nevertheless I'll request a third opinion in the project.Tintor2 (talk) 00:11, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

You are right. Any interpretation requires sources, so that's why we should avoid synthesis, original research or be based on things never mentioned in the series. Just wait for consensus (which was already decided in Talk:Lelouch Lamperouge#Death of Lelouch leading to the current state in all articles) since multiple synthesis and interpretations are for forums and fansites.Tintor2 (talk) 11:26, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
