You removed every single wikilink from the Trunking article and removed a few useful sentences - why? In my view that is Vandalism. -- RHaworth 07:28, 2005 Feb 19 (UTC)
EH?
- Note the date - the above was a reference to this edit which was what alerted me to this project in the first place. -- RHaworth 12:47, 2005 Apr 8 (UTC)
On reflection, I think I know why the wikilinks have disappeared and in case you have not worked it out for yourself: When copying an article for editing elsewhere, always copy it from the edit box not from the "rendered" version. That way you will copy it with the wiki markup in place.
When I am doing major mods to an article, I like to copy it elsewhere so I don't generate lots of lines of edit history for the article itself. Just click on this link: User:Vandenbr/sandbox to create yourself a suitable page.

editHi, {Rodger}. It is cleanup time. The students' work is marked, and I am left with the unenviable task of removing their half-truths and misconceptions, many of which they have picked up from otherwise reasonable web pages.
I did copy from the edit page of "teletraffic trunking" and pasted it in the edit page of "trunking" to effect the initial merge. trunking still works for me, as it correctly points to wiki entries elsewhere. All I removed was the text declaring the page to be a stub. {Ian}
My mod history is long because there seems to be no way I can edit live. Perhaps I should try Firefox's tabs, and have one tab open for viewing and one for editing?
Grade and Quality of Service
editYou completely replaced Grade of service and almost completely replaced Quality of service with articles of your own. Please explain why your versions (now on other titles) are superior to what was there before.
Wikipedia is a collaborative project. Please try and collaborate.

Fixed
editThis is now fixed with a link from gos to teletraffic gos. The article on QoS seems to be well balanced between previous and new material.
Deletion policy debate
editYou will see that I have placed a Votes for deletion boilerplate on many of your articles.
- Do not remove any of these - if you do I shall seek to have you blocked.
- Please, please discuss on the deletion policy page what you, Caltox, Barry22 and Y.bata are doing. Sign your comments with ~~~~.

editImages
editIt seems you didn't bother to pay much attention to the upload page when you uploaded Image:LimitedSwitch.gif and Image:TrafficTable.gif. Please read Wikipedia:Uploading images and Wikipedia:Image use policy, and then choose an appropriate tag from Wikipedia:Image copyright tags. Thank you. — Trilobite (Talk) 13:58, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Later
editI need to study the ins and outs of putting the tag in. While I generated the image myself, I would like to retain copyright, but do not mind people making what I understand to be fair use of it to understand 'availability'.
PLEASE STOP WORSHIPPING CAPITAL LETTERS SO MUCH!!!!!
editHello. I've just moved two of your articles and cleaned them up. Now lots of links need to get fixed. Engset calculation now has a lower-case c; but from your edit history the same may need to get done with dozens of your articles, and maybe hundreds of links will need to get fixed.
Please help clean this up. Michael Hardy 21:53, 10 Mar 2005 (UTC)

editHEAR HEAR!. Thanks for your help. The text the students put in suffer also from to much capitalization of concepts. Sometimes, I think it is a reminder to later on make a link.
Thanks
editAt last, a response to all the comments we have been throwing at you. Many thanks. Your contribution in Wikipedia:Deletion policy/Teletraffic Engineering would have been more reassuring if you had been properly logged in when you made it - have you ever looked at a wiki edit history?
Done
editCouldn't remember my alter ego.
One important thing that your group need to do is to sort out the copyright position on the pictures. (See warnings in User talk:Y.bata.)
In your case:
can be converted to a Wiki table and no one will worry about it being a copyright violation.
Full availability, limited availability, and gradings is an article I have listed as "keep - under a more sensible title" but there is no point in keeping it if the picture has been deleted as a copyvio.

Copyright issues on diagrams
editBoth jpgs are from my material, so the students have not been bad except that they should have referenced my course material. Will fix this later.
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Trade in services, by Notsomuch, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Trade in services fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Trade in services, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Trade in services itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 16:59, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
The article High-loss calculation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Tagged for context since 2009, completely untouched since then. Not notable, no sources
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
