Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bitters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amaro (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

See, what I hadn't realized is that the article had just been deleted. Which was a terrible deletion decision, because the decision (upon looking at it) was based on the state of the article, not a the actual notability of the product/company. In short, the !voters and closer forgot that AFD is not a substitute for cleanup. That said, I'll see if I can whip up an appropriately neutral stub. oknazevad (talk) 12:44, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Help with Louis XIII (cognac)

edit

Hey Vapeur, I saw you're one of the few active members of WP:Spirits, and I was wondering if you had time to look over some changes I'm proposing for the article on Louis XIII. I drafted up a new version and reached out on the talk page, but it's not very active over there. If you've got a minute, would you be open to collaborating on this and ensuring these are all suitable changes to the article? I'd really appreciate it.--FacultiesIntact (talk) 20:00, 20 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello again! Hope you're doing well. I know you mentioned you were pretty busy, but I wanted to see if there's anything I can do to help out with reviewing/editing the draft. Thanks again for taking the time to look at it in the first place!--FacultiesIntact (talk) 21:47, 2 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Collaborating on J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines Wikipedia article

edit

Hi Vapeur I noticed you collaborated with my former colleague in the past, FacultiesIntact on the Louis XIII (cognac) Wikipedia article. I recently created a sandbox for proposed edits to the J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines existing article. Would you be open to review this content? Thanks in advance.--Chefmikesf (talk) 20:55, 22 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Greetings. I've reviewed the language, content, and objectivity of the proposed edits to the J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines article as per your request. I found the article to be well-written, encyclopedic in style, uncluttered with cloying superlatives, and thoroughly referenced. I made only one very minor correction (i.e. sing. heading "Wine" to pl. "Wines"), but found no errors or anything else that caught my attention. The article is thoroughly detailed, but the length and content seem befitting of the age and case volume of the winery. Well done.Vapeur (talk) 22:27, 23 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Vapeur, appreciate the kind words. Due to my COI, would you be open to bring the changes to the J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines article?--Chefmikesf (talk) 20:22, 25 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Vapeur I found a few more updates for the J. Lohr Vineyard & Wines article. Would you be open to review the suggested additions on my sandbox talk page? -- Chefmikesf (talk) 22:05, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Updates reviewed and added. I believe that's everything. If not, let me know. Vapeur (talk) 17:19, 28 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi Vapeur Sorry, I think there was misunderstanding, the suggested additions were on the talk page. Could you revert your two last changes and take a look at the sandbox talk page? I can repost the request on the J. Lohr talk page as well.-- Chefmikesf (talk) 19:49, 29 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
