The geographic center of Canada is west of West Hawk Lake and is intersected and noted just south of Winnipeg by signs posted by the Canadian Government. "Central" Canada would be a more accurate description both in terms of geology and culture. I am happy for this article but perhaps Canada should be divided more carefully in the future.
