An Invitation
editHello VederJuda,
Here's an invitation to visit Wikipedia:Japanese Wikipedians' notice board. There, you can meet other Wikipedians of all nationalities working on articles related to Japan, including Samurai (thanks for helping with that). You'll find lists of new articles, projects, and resources such as Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Japan-related articles). Hope to see you there!
Best regards,

Revolution games
editThe games you added to the list were already on there as Peter Jackson's King Kong and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 4. I know it's tricky with the miniscule amount of info we've got on our hands. Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 20:31, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
- I never even saw those... -- VederJuda 21:36, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
Why did you revert back to User:68.98.147.30's apparent meaningless contributions to this article? Ereinion 22:11, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
- I got caught in the middle of a bunch of edits and your revert, I was trying to revert one of his other edits at the time and didn't notice that he put a bunch in. My bad. -- VederJuda 22:28, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
Hi, please don't make cut and paste moves. It destroys the page history. I've moved the page for you. There should be a tab at the top of every page (next to watch) saying "move" that allows you to do this. (If you don't have it, then it's probably not available to you because you're a new user or something like that.) Thanks, and keep on editing. Johnleemk | Talk 13:26, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
- I never saw that, or at least I never noticed it. And I think I made some minor edits when I moved it, were those deleted? -- VederJuda 13:27, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
- Unfortunately those edits were lost because I had to delete the page to make way for the move. Sorry about that. Johnleemk | Talk 13:41, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
- No prob, I fixed them; and thanks for pointing out the "move" thing, hopefully I'll remember that next time. -- VederJuda 13:43, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
Star Fox team vandal
editI dunno what it is with that vandal, but do you think a page protect is in order? if not, I guess a temporary block. Thunderbrand 20:48, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
- If he (she) does it again, I am very tempted to throw a vprotect on it. -- VederJuda 21:01, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
Showcase Showdown
editRegarding your edits to The Price Is Right, the term "Showcase Showdown" does in fact refer to the segments involving the Big Wheel, while the endgame is known simply as "the Showcase." This can be confirmed several times in any given episode.
I don't mean to make a federal case of it, but this has always been a pet peeve of mine. TPIRFanSteve 17:06, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- Are you serious? That seems so odd since there are NO showcases while spinning the Big Wheel. I'm definitely going to have to pay attention on the next episode. -- VederJuda 17:31, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- Sure am. The Showcase Showdown is showdown in which people qualify for the Showcase. Matter of fact, this website has audio of the very first Showcase Showdown from September 8, 1975. TPIRFanSteve 17:56, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- I just watched, and you're right, he does call the spin-off a "Showcase Showdown". To paraphrase the Kids in the Hall, my mind has been blown! -- VederJuda 22:28, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well, when you consider that the Showcase had already been around for three years when the Showcase Showdown was invented, it really isn't that odd. TPIRFanSteve 00:04, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
Edit Conflict?
editI assume this was an edit conflict? Please be more careful in future, I almost gave you the standard vandal warning. ;) --JiFish(Talk/Contrib) 00:02, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry about that, someone added some junk so I tried to delete it. -- VederJuda 00:04, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
Wii quote
editIf we could get your opinion on this that would be great, thanks. The general agreement seems to be that is should be "[Wii]" not "Revolution [Wii]". -- Steel359 16:47, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
I wanted the pattern of Nintendo console-related articles to remain "in-line"; considering the Wii's predecessor is labeled as "Nintendo GameCube", and the one before, "Nintendo 64", it seems fitting that the article would be moved to "Nintendo Wii".
I nominated the "Nintendo Wii" redirect page for speedy deletion because I wanted it removed so that Wii could be moved to it. You know that moving articles to titles that already exist is not allowed.
--NicAgent 23:09, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- I hear you, you're not the only person to think it should be "Nintendo Wii"; but if had checked the discussion page for Wii, you would have realized that it had been debated to death. -- VederJuda 23:15, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
List of characters
editI was wondering if you had any comments about what is going on at Talk:List of characters in the Star Fox series. As you probably know, many of the characters were merged into the page. Since you have not commented, I assumed that you have no complaints or concerns? Thunderbrand 14:29, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- I'm a little annoyed nobody made a declaration on the individual pages before going ahead with the merge. But anyway, since I was watching the Krystal page, and that page was a lot bigger, I suppose it should have remained, and a link to that page should exist as a "main article" link on the list of characters page. Also, I dispute the exact wording of: "where she finds and joins the Star Wolf team to spite Fox." After playing through the game for all 9 endings, I don't think she joined Star Wolf explicity to spite Fox; yes, she acts coldly to Fox throughout much of the game, but it seems that she only sided with Star Wolf for the sake of fighting the Anglar invasion and not for the purpose of showing Fox up. It also doesn't mention that she was in a relationship with Panther, although it is mentioned in Panther's section. -- VederJuda 15:30, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Your recent edit to Wii (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. - Bit of confusion while trying to revert some vandalism, and I accidentally reverted to another vandalised version; then AntiVandalBot reverted to the vandalized version I was trying to fix. Weird. -- VederJuda 12:52, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
X-Play review?
editDid X-Play review this game; if so, why doesn't the G4 website have the review there? -- VederJuda 20:17, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
- The reason I'm asking here is because I want to know if that review is real or not, and if not then it shouldn't be here; so don't delete my post my like that. -- VederJuda 22:17, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

editHey there VederJuda,
I've noted that you've contributed before to the List of Wii games. Just wanted to let you know that the list is getting ready for Featured status and is currently undergoing a Peer Review. If you can take a moment to look over the article and add your suggestions/comments for improvement here, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks! -Digiwrld1 21:39, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Item drop
editA "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Item drop, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:UsagiYojimboVol3Issue20Cover.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:UsagiYojimboVol3Issue20Cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:25, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of New Game Plus
editThe article New Game Plus has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article consists entirely of OR based on a neologism sourced to a video game blog. OR tag and NOTABILITY tag have been in place for a year while REF tag has been unaddressed for 2 years. Plenty of time for any improvement to happen.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. L0b0t (talk) 13:31, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
