Please be aware of Wikipedia's policies of assuming good faith and abstaining from personal attacks. Calling editors you disagree with ignorant violates both. Sergecross73 msg me 23:05, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Someone with 97,000 edits telling me he couldnt find sources on this subject is intentionally obtuse. VeniceBreeze (talk) 03:11, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Was my argument hinging on the number of sources? Try re-reading what I actually said in my argument. At the moment, it doesn't appear you're doing a very good job of understanding my stance or my warning here. Sergecross73 msg me 13:33, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
How about you stop trying to provoke me so you can suspend me. Im feeling pretty harassed by you VeniceBreeze (talk) 19:01, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
This feels awfully like a threat...im feeling violated.. VeniceBreeze (talk) 19:02, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
What are you talking about? What part makes you feel threatened? The part where I notified you that bad-faith name-calling is against the rules of the website? Or the part where I asked you to re-read my AFD stance? I'm completely at a loss here... Sergecross73 msg me 19:08, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Community Pond moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Community Pond. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:26, 27 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I came across this article stub while doing new page patrol, and had to move it to drafts to avoid it being deleted, as there is no evidence that the subject is notable, given that it only cites primary sources. Please see WP:GNG for the main notability guideline, which describes the sort of sources we would need to see. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:28, 27 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Beastie Boys Square coordinates

edit

I had to correct the coordinates for Beastie Boys Square, which pointed to New York City Hall instead of the intersection of Ludlow and Rivington. I'm always curious on the etiology of these sorts of glaring errors. How did you obtain the coordinates? Abductive (reasoning) 09:49, 31 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I used one of the mapping coordinate websites.. thanks for helping.. i dont know why they are trying to delete it. VeniceBreeze (talk) 20:40, 31 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
It looks like they will Merge it to Paul's Boutique. Readers won't lose out; Beastie Boys Square got 361 pageviews since its creation, but Paul's Boutique got 8,504 pageviews in the same time period. Abductive (reasoning) 19:55, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Its a tourist and instagram attraction.. it has a story and wikipedia should have a page with the map point and info on the mural... the intersection has enough depth for a page ... VeniceBreeze (talk) 21:07, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Plus it would be better if a wiki page showed and the info was in a google knowledge panel when people google . that wont happen w a merge. VeniceBreeze (talk) 21:08, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, it's disappointing when your article is messed with. I hope you continue to edit Wikipedia after this. Abductive (reasoning) 23:02, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi VeniceBreeze. Thank you for your work on The New York Times Capsule. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

A clearly referenced article about a high-profile time-capsule and artwork; clearly written. Linking it a little more widely might be helpful.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

DYK for The Blue Angels (film)

edit

On 4 July 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article The Blue Angels (film), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that The Blue Angels was shot using IMAX cameras rigged to a helicopter, plus an ultra-high-speed camera shooting at 1,000 frames per second? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Blue Angels (2024). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, The Blue Angels (film)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
