editHey bro. Not trying to vandalize. I'm a friend and a fan. I was trying to clean up the text so it was chronological and accurate. During the editing process I somehow lost data, but I think I got it all back right a minute ago. Should I wait a few days and come back and clean house again then, or.... ?
Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.216.245.27 (talk) 01:21, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
Eastern Columbia Building
editHello. sorry for my english, i am Argentinian. I do the change in Eastern Columbia Building in Popular Culture. I put the short 12:01 PM 1990 because the building's clock appear a lot of times in this short (there is a time loop in the movie and the clock appear each time start the loop). The short is this (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098962/). This short is one of the adaptations of 12:01 PM writed by Richard A. Lupoff
Proceed way you consider most appropriate. regards :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.168.17.220 (talk) 04:22, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
- Hi @181.168.17.220:, and sorry about the fast revert, I didn't mean to set you off guard. The content of your edit was not necessary the issue, but rather where you placed it within the article. Now that I'm looking at it closer, the "In popular culture" section seems very disoriented, and I have now fixed it to meet policy standards. The source that you indicated (from IMDB) passes WP:VERIFY as a reliable source, so I have re-added it with the initial text that you put in the article. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to let me know! Cheers. Vensco (T | C) 04:31, 1 June 2016 (UTC)

John-Allan Hygerth
editThanks for your review of John-Allan Hygerth. I was having trouble finding an English language citation, and wasn't aware that a new wiki needed at least one. I have finally found a reliable page to confirm the information I added to the page, however, and removed the proposed deletion. Feel free to check on it to ensure it is up to wiki standards. editWhy did you delete my article on Facebook's new Artificial Intelligence Project: DeepText? Is that not vandalism? I contribute something new and noteworthy, and you delete it? How is Vensco allowed to vandalize Wikipedia at will while actual contributors get shit on?
- @Cdpedersen: No need to get angry here. If an article on a living or recently deceased person is proposed for deletion because it has no sources, you may add a source and remove the template yourself, which you did, so there's no need to be uncivil here... Vensco (T | C) 01:06, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

Cam Neely
editCam Neely is Canadian and so is Tom Watt, the person quoted as using the word I corrected. In case you're not aware of it, Canadians, like English speakers everywhere except the United States, spell defence with a "c" when it's a noun. That should clarify the change. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.21.29.212 (talk) 04:56, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
Other accounts
editWhat other account or accounts have you used? 149.254.180.27 (talk) 22:22, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
- @149.254.180.27: I've used various IP's (can't seem to find them now), but have never had an account up until recently. Why do you ask? Vensco (T | C) 22:25, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, I should have said "have you used any other accounts", rather than assuming you had. It was obvious you are a very experienced editor, and although it isn't unknown for an experienced IP editor to suddenly switch to using an account, it's fairly rare unless there's some special reason, so I just wondered. 149.254.180.27 (talk) 22:39, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
- No worries, I mainly switched to using an account because I saw the benefits of using anti-vandalism fighting tools such as Twinkle and Lupin, rather than tediously copying/pasting warning templates to user talkpages. You might want to do the same if this is the kind of editing that you'll be performing on Wikipedia. :-) Vensco (T | C) 22:45, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

editMy edit of Robert William Chapman's entry was undone as not productive. The current text is this: "R. W. Chapman, was a British scholar, book collector and editor for Samuel Johnson and Jane Austen.[1]" My understanding would be that such phrasing implies a person is editing "for" people still alive. But, they were not alive. He was editing the "works of" those authors, then deceased. Thus, my change. But, if others do not feel that is productive, I bow to crowd-sourcing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.46.246.129 (talk) 01:08, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
- @108.46.246.129: Sorry, that was a rollback mistake. Also, "of works of" seems a bit redundant to me... I've gone ahead and restored your initial edit, but I also added "the" in the statement which now reads, "of the works of", which seems more grammatically correct to me, at least... Cheers. editWhy are you removing the changes that i make on the Quodoushka page?
These 2 statements are clearly made just to make the Quodoushka look bad. Its an unfair and pretty low way of trying to make a point about something you dont agree with. People are free to think or belive what ever about the Quodoushkas but flatt out lieing is pretty stupid.
"People taking the course have to agree to a non-disclosure clause." This is nothing wierd. 95% of all sex workshops in the world have a "What happends here stays here" policy. Many that go to sex workshops, and other spiritual workshops, do not want all thier friends to know what they are doing. So this agreement is just to make people feel safe. Nothing evil or strange about it.
"Quodoushka regards children and infants as sexual beings." Makeing a statement like that is out of context and also misleading. All Quodoushka teachers make a very strong point in saying you are not allaowed to do anything that hurts children. And yes they mean sex with children, or infants, is plain wrong and should never happen. ~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.68.183.20 (talk) 00:09, 4 June 2016 (UTC) Gah trying to sign but it dont work. ~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.68.183.20 (talk) 00:11, 4 June 2016 (UTC)

Sandy Hook Harassment
editHello Vensco. This is Matt Mills (the journalist the CT Post claimed harassed one of the Sandy Hook victims families) In the WikipediA article about Sandy Hook conspiracy theories, you mention my court case and quote the CT Post article that claims I shoved a picture in someones face, angrily claimed someone didn't exist, and claimed the shooting never took place. At no time did I ever do anything even remotely close to these allegations. All I did was ask if a picture was photoshopped. I swear to God. Those were the only words that ever left my mouth. In the article I wrote the sentence "Mills maintains these allegations are 100% false," which they truly are. I didn't change the article; all I did was write this short sentence that slightly balances your article. The CT Post has shown an extremely aggressive bias towards me. I don't think its fair to the general public that they only get their side of the story in your article. And to be honest, the reporter that wrote this article has a very bad reputation for exaggerating and lying in the past. I am asking to put the sentence "Mills maintains these allegations are 100% false." in that paragraph. I think thats fair. Do you agree? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:2000:8197:D200:7520:33F2:80CB:980B (talk) 01:08, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- Please read WP:NPOV, you may be able to re-add the statement in a way that complies to being neutral. With that said though, you will also want to input a reliable source indicating this claim. Cheers. Vensco (T | C) 02:14, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
Reply re editing HMS Cleopatra 4-6-2016 NZ Time 2.42pm / R. Miles Wgtn NZ
editI have contributed significantly the editing of the cold war RN/RNZN warships on wiki and on NZR locomotives and railcars and some USN articles nb USS Scorpion. A great deal of the T21, Tiger, Swiftsure, Minotaur and County articles are my contribution and most other RNZN and Rn articles of that period include work by me. I wrote quite extensively on NZ/ANZUS defence for NBR (1983-1997) , Press, Southland Times, NZ Herald and Timaru Herald (1983-87 where I also wrote Editorials) and other publications including NZIR Intenational Review. I have a MA(Hons) in Political Science from Uni Canterbury in 1982 and BA(hons) in history from the same university which was completed in 2006 and awarded in 2011. I have been working as an anon Editor of Wikipedia since 2011 mainly motivated by the desire to maintain historical truth against the desire of the Minister of Trade Tim Grosser, MFAT and Minister of Police Judith Collins to rewrite and distort history in their view to promote relations with China who they mistakenly believe is the future and non aggressive, rather than an expansionist power seeking military dictatorship. In 2011 Grosser and the NZ Ambassaddor Mike Moore where making determined efforts to rewrite, downplay and suppress the real story of HMNZS Royalists operation in support of Britain, France and Israel in Operation Musketeer in support of the supposed NZ policy of even handedness towards the middle east which in reality this century has been a great MFAT bias in support of the Palestine cause and its supporters. My own defence writing was notable in opposing the plan to equip NZ with what became the Collins class submarines which I discussed with ret Cpt Ian Bradley after his own failure to achieve extensive publication in opposition to the Collins submarines. i was told by Cdr Robert Martin in 1985 that my arguments in the Timaru Herald and nBR in 1983 were the basis of Martins paper rejecting the Australian submarines as an option for the RNZN, mainly on cost, speed and transit and ability to engage SSN arguments. I continued to oppose Australia's Collins submarines and in about 1989 at the height of the controversy over the Collins, the Australain Buleltin intended to publish an article of mine on the Collins described by the Bulletin editor as the 'best he had seen' cf the Collins with John DeLorean, Belfast manufactured DeLorean car the probable reason for non publication was the Bulletins insistence that the final draft be transmitted by electronic means of communication violating secure transmission. My father was a RN/RNZN reserve officers 1941-45 serving on HMS Kledive command ship of the Sth France Invasion as an intelligence officer after a year in New York preparing for the operation. He rejoined the NZ Army as a reserve and Cadet Major 1955-1970. My grandfther was a Captain in the Glocester Regiment 1914-18 serving in France and Salonika and in Wellington Territorial Army unit as a Captain 1939-45. My second cousin Simon Atkinson served in the RN from 1980 to recently obtaining the rank of Commander is initial service included a stint on HMS Sheffield in 1981. - Hi 210.48.175.44 (talk · contribs · WHOIS). I'm not really sure what you're trying to tell me here. Your experience on Wikipedia is definitely outstanding in comparison to most anon. editors that I have come across. In fact, you've edited on Wikipedia longer than I have... :-). If you're coming to my talkpage because I reverted one of your edits, it seems/looks to be no big deal in this particular situation. After looking through your edits, the only one I could find that was reverted was this one. The only reason it was reverted was because the placement of the edit did not really make sense to me. (It was likely misplaced as a typo...). No big deal at all. If anything, I really appreciate the amount of time and effort that you put into contributing to the encyclopedia, as most of your edits seem to be very helpful/constructive. If you need any help with anything else please do not hesitate to let me know through my talkpage. Cheers. Vensco (T | C) 03:25, 4 June 2016 (UTC)

editDear Vensco,
I noticed that you tagged the accounts Un Royale Grille Genghis (talk · contribs) and Windsor Lord Royale (talk · contribs) as sockpuppets of Tikeem cumberbatch uttp tcgp own (talk · contribs). These accounts are actually sockpuppets of Supreme Genghis Khan (talk · contribs), as demonstrated by their usernames and repeated addition of images of Genghis Khan to pages. Tikeem Cumberbatch sockpuppets usually have scatological names, and create vandalism pages rather than vandalising existing articles - the account Fart poopy nuts (talk · contribs) is a good example of one of these socks. Please read Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Supreme Genghis Khan and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tikeem cumberbatch uttp tcgp own for more information on how each of these sockmasters operate.
