ArbCom 2017 election voter message
editHello, VentureKit. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

Paid editing
editHello VentureKit. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:VentureKit. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=VentureKit|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS (talk|c|em) 15:33, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
- Hi User:GSS, I am not being paid to edit but can make better use of talk page discussions as you have mentioned to avoid further concerns. Thank you.VentureKit (talk) 20:42, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

editHello from COI editor
editHello User:VentureKit,
My name is Jeffrey Krasner and I have a small PR agency that works with young biotech firms in the Cambridge, Mass., area. (I came across your name while looking at recent contributions to the Alnylam page.) I am editing the page for David Lucchino, a Boston-area biotech entrepreneur and CEO. I fully disclose my conflict of interest on my talk page and in my proposed edits. (I am being paid by his company, Frequency Therapeutics). I have posted several changes on the Talk page, seeking input from volunteer editors, but haven't yet received any feedback. I should point out that, as a former reporter for The Wall Street Journal and The Boston Globe, I adhere strictly to unbiased facts with appropriate primary and secondary sources that meet Wikipedia guidelines. I know what puffery is and I avoid it at all costs.
If you might be willing to take a look at my proposed edits at David Lucchino, I would be grateful. And I am happy to help out with any articles you might be editing, if you need input from someone familiar with biopharma, health care and drug development. Thanks in advance.JeffreyKrasner (talk) 21:18, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
Hello User:JeffreyKrasner, I can certainly take a look at your proposed edits and give you my thoughts. VentureKit (talk) 18:35, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

editBlocked for sockpuppetry
edit{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:18, 7 December 2020 (UTC)The article Affirm Holdings has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Reads like an advert and/or press release. Needs to be scrapped and rewritten.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
