Handkerfchief Codes

edit

Hi there, I saw your edit on Handkerchief codes. Could you please cite your sources for claiming that Blue and Green stand for Top and Bottom respectively? In one or two websites containing handkerchief codes, I cannot see the forementioned colours with the particular meaning. Thank you in advance. --dionyziz 01:31, 13 August 2005 (UTC).Reply

Its from oscar wilde. Green crissanthems meant you wanted to be fucked and blue ones meant you wanted to fuck a guy. Thats why oscar wilde's friend's all wore green ones. --horseboy 14:26, 13 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Re:POV

edit

POV is short for point of view, and something that is POV is something that only expresses a single point of view. This is in violation of Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. - SimonP 15:37, August 13, 2005 (UTC)

Redirects

edit

The correct syntax for redirects is #redirect [[other article]] (which is what White Swan and Molly houses have been changed to). --Mairi 07:16, 14 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

User Page Category

edit

Hello! I noticed you created category:Queer Wikipedians. No, it's not just you - everyone else is using Category:LGBT Wikipedians. I think that the other category was being used at first, but was renamed. Anyway, just to let you know! --207.118.103.162 08:54, 18 September 2005 (UTC) (maybe I'll sign in later)Reply

Why did they rename it, I'm not a lesbian. --horseboy 08:56, 18 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Regarding this, Category:Queer Wikipedians is up for deletion right now. No, you're not alone -- I used this category instead of the other when I found it, as I consider myself pomosexual. There's another user in there now, too. But what's really nice is that there are currently people who don't use the category arguing to keep it, including some Category:LGBT Wikipedians, I think. Thought you'd want to know, if you didn't already. :) --Jacquelyn Marie 16:41, 21 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
Is that like bisexual, only when you can't get a shag? horseboy 17:16, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Gnostic Movement

edit

I have some overall concerns about this article. Primarily the notablity of the subject matter. There are very few links from other sites to the external references, and often the primary links are only to each other. I am eliciting comments since you have edited on this page. See my comments on the talk page. Trödel 23:03, 13 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ive only done a disambiguation thing on the page. I dont know really know anything more about the subtect matter. Youd be better off asking someone else. horseboy 16:20, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
