Vesperms (talk) 03:33, 8 June 2012 (UTC) I am confused as to how to move my article to the live Wikipedia pages where everyone can search for it. Please help and thank you!
- Hello Vesperms, Welcome to Wikipedia! Seeing from your user page and sandbox, it seems that you are writing an article on Jose La Luz. I strongly recommend that you submit your article content to Wikipedia:Articles for creation. It's quite easy, just copy and paste all the content from your user page to create a new draft and submit it for review when you think it's ready. Also in the future for this kind of requests you do not need administrator help, just type in {{helpme}} and this will also get you the same help :). Thanks. - Hi. You moved your article to the anomalous title "Wikipedia talk:Vesperms/sandbox". If you intended to make it live, the title should have been simply "Jose de la Luz", and you would get it there by selecting "(Article)" from the drop-down list at the left on the "Move" form, and typing "Jose de la Luz" in the box at the right. However, not knowing if that was your intention, I have moved it back to a user sub-page at User:Vesperms/Jose La Luz and, if you wish to submit it to WP:Articles for creation for someone to check before making it live, you can do that by clicking the "Submit" button at the top of the page.
- Another time, if you wish to start an article as a userspace draft, a good way is to go to Help:Userspace draft and fill in the title, which will set up a draft page like this one.
- I see you also have a copy of this text in your own user page. That is not really what main user pages are for - they are intended for users to say something about themselves and their Wikipedia work, if they like, to help communication within the project. If you have no further need for the copy in your user page, just put {{db-user}} at the top and someone will delete it. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 09:55, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation
editYou are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you are more than welcome to continue submitting work to Articles for Creation.
- If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!
—JmaJeremyTALKCONTRIBS 04:59, 24 June 2012 (UTC)The article has already gone live - did you not see the message just above? Well done. If you no longer need the copies at User:Vesperms and User:Vesperms/Jose La Luz, you can get rid of them by putting {{db-user}} at the top - two curly brackets each side. Your main user page is really intended for you to say something about yourself and your Wikipedia activities, if you like, to help communication within the project.
