==Speedy deletion nomination of Kytrell mcdonald==
A tag has been placed on Kytrell mcdonald requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. THE AMERICAN METROSEXUAL 18:26, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi!
editHi Vh1-fac, how's it going? I noticed you posted a report at Wikipedia:Abuse filter/False positives, and I gather this is about Kytrell mcdonald?
The bad news is that Wikipedia:Abuse filter/False positives isn't the right place to discuss this; the good news is that you've done everything else correctly by placing a {{hangon}} tag on Kytrell mcdonald.
Wikipedia:Abuse filter/False positives is for reporting edits that couldn't be made because an automated script thought the edit was "bad" in some way, which isn't the case here - a human editor thought your new article should be deleted, and tagged it for deletion. This doesn't necessarily mean it will be deleted - and you have an opportunity to prevent it being deleted. Go to the article's talk page and post a few lines explaining why you think the article shouldn't be deleted. You might also want to have a chat with COMPFUNK2, the user who tagged the article for deletion.
...and, of course, you can chat with me if you need any help!

Re: kytrell
editHi!
It looks to me like the concern is mainly over notability - each article in Wikipedia needs to be about a notable subject, so you'd need to find references from reliable sources that establish notability. So... do you have, or could you find, and newspaper articles or mentions on news sites on the web about Kytrell? Any reviews of the French Canadian show he was in would be good, for example. Also, any reports about the shows he's won would help establish notability. What we want to do is, we need to be able to provide a way for readers to check what the article says about Kytrell is true, and that he really is important.
Does that make sense? Click on the links in that last paragraph to find out more about the policies Wikipedia has, and to learn more about how to meet Wikipedia's requirements. And if any of it isn't clear, post a new message here. I may not be able to reply immediately (I'm going to be away from my PC for a while) but I will get back to you.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Kytrell McDonald has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bmyspace\.com (links: http://myspace.com/kytrellmcdonaldactor).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Stwalkerster [ talk ] 17:12, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Please do not add hoaxes to Wikipedia, such as you did in the article Kytrell McDonald. Hoaxes are caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method is to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please don't disrupt Wikipedia in an attempt to test our ability to detect and remove such material. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia policy to learn more about this project and how you can make a positive impact. Thank you. لennavecia 13:15, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
