Baroness Felicita La Masa Bevilacqua
editI have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Baroness Felicita La Masa Bevilacqua, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. 172.147.250.89 20:11, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Page moves
editI've moved Change title of article to User:Victorbevilaqua/Bevilacqua dynasty and Bevilacqa Dynasty to Bevilacqua Dynasty on the assumption that that's what you meant to do; in the future if you make a page with a misspelled title you can fix it by using the [move] tab at the top of the page (located close to the [edit] tab for most people). This article may need to be cleaned up a bit, so I hope you are still working on it. —Soap— 16:18, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Gyula Szentessy Hungarian Poet
editA tag has been placed on Gyula Szentessy Hungarian Poet requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Toddst1 (talk) 16:27, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
- The guy's name was Gyula Szentessy not Gyula Szentessy Hungarian Poet! We already have an article about him but it needs improvement. Please help. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:25, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Your articles
editHi there. I noticed you just created Bevilacqua Dynasty Part II Primogenita Line of Verona, which seems to consist almost entirely of text from Bevilacqua family. Please do not perform cut and paste moves, especially when you're not even moving content but simply duplicating it. Having text in two different places is problematic for Wikipedia, as it means we have to maintain the same information twice and make changes in two different places. In general, if you're copying and pasting from one wiki page to another, you're probably doing something wrong. Also (and not to harangue you too much!), please remember to follow the manual of style in your articles. In particular, use footnotes to cite your sources, add links within your articles to other relevant articles, and create section headings where appropriate. Feel free to let me know anytime if you have any questions or if I can help with anything, including cleaning up the copying and pasting. Thanks and happy editing!
