The information on this page is both inaccurate and irresponsible. The information is not up to date nor does it reflect the last 10 years of research on autoimmune encephalitis of which PANS or PANDAS is but one example. There are multiple sites worldwide that have confirmed the existence of an autoimmune encephalitis which is treatable with immune modulation and anti-inflammatory treatments. Stanford has a Clinic dedicated to treating children with PANS or PANDAS. This is but one example of a host of centers around the US that are treating this rare and misunderstood illness.
