Your User page is supposed to be about you
editThe function of a User page is to provide a short description of you and your intent to be an editor for Wikipedia. Look at others for examples. What you have is a description of someone else, in a form that would not be acceptable as a Wikipedia article. David notMD (talk) 22:16, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
So what should i do since am new here. Vidyut Domie (talk) 08:36, 20 November 2021 (UTC)

I see that you have returned to Wikipedia after several years. The above links (in blue) provide guidance to tutorials, instructions, etc. I suggest you start looking at articles that are on topics you know, perhaps your hometown or high school or nature local to you, to see if those can be improved. Also, look at your User page to see if that is still what you want. David notMD (talk) 09:37, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
You mean the first edit after joining Wikipedia should be about yourself? Vidyut Domie (talk) 10:12, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
- Having content on User pages is optional. If nothing, then your User name appears as red. With any content, name appears as blue. Some people have very little. Others put in a lot of time adding Userboxes, art, etc. While that can be fun, the stated purpose of the encyclopedia is to improve the encyclopedia. Wikipedia:User pages provides guidance on what can or cannot be included. David notMD (talk) 10:33, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
