Link returns me to same page
editDear VonFeist,
Hey, do you have any published references that mention Grand Fantasia?
I see that you recently posted a question to the Help Desk, archived at Wikipedia:Help desk/Archives/2015 March 1#Double Redirect? Broken Link? Link returns me to same page..
I'm guessing you are talking about the link that (at the time) looked like Grand Fantasia in the article Aeria Games.
At the time, that was a self-redirect (WP:SELFREDIRECT), which is a normal redirect, not a double redirect (Wikipedia:Double redirects).
You want to see the Wikipedia article about Grand Fantasia, right?
To read what used to be the Wikipedia article about Grand Fantasia, before that article was converted to a redirect, you have to take several steps.
- click on Grand Fantasia. What you see has the title "Aeria Games" at the top, and *looks* almost identical to clicking on the link Aeria Games, except for one little thing.
- The one little difference is that after clicking on Grand Fantasia, there's an extra line near the top, just below the title, that says "(Redirected from Grand Fantasia)".
- Click on the link in that "extra line", which will take you to the redirect page http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Grand_Fantasia&redirect=no which has the title "Grand Fantasia" at the top.
- Hit the "View history" tab at the top of that page, and use the links on that page to go back in time and see every old version of the "Grand Fantasia" article.
After you've gathered a bunch of reliable sources mentioning Grand Fantasia (see Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources), please add those sources to the Aeria Games article.
Later, you may want to either
- Add {{R with possibilities}} to the Grand Fantasia redirect, and edit Talk:Aeria Games to request a Wikipedia: Spinout. Or,
- Convert Grand Fantasia, which at the moment is a redirect, into an article, and add all those reliable sources as citations. See Wikipedia: Redirect#How to edit a redirect or convert it into an article.
Good luck. --DavidCary (talk) 16:49, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
Your draft article, Draft:Chaos Heroes Online
editHello, VonFeist. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Chaos Heroes Online".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Chaos Heroes Online}}
, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 15:46, 26 April 2015 (UTC)
