Nice start on the Calliopsis (bee) article. A few things you could do going forward

• The "Description" section lacks supporting citations. You need to add some.
• The "Miscellaneous facts" section needs to be incorporated into other sections. If it's about behavior, add it there. If it's about appearance, add it to the description. You could also add an ecology section.
• Avoid opinions - things like "striking" are opinions, not facts, and "unusual" is difficult to quantify.
• You don't need to go into too much depth explaining what a tibia is - just add a link to Arthropod_leg#Tibia
