Suzy Sticks
editSomeone recently created an article on Suzy Sticks, one of those weird games that disc sport people play. It was recently deleted out of process, which is why it is at deletion review. Currently it redirects to Disc golf. I think that we should have an article for spin-off games associated with Ultimate and other disc sports. Obviously Goaltimate, Disc golf and Ultimate should have separate articles, but there should be a Disc games article for well known games as there is for Scrabble variants. There are many others out there like Hot Box, which probably aren't deserving of their own article, but should be included. This has been cross-posted at Talk:Ultimate (sport), Talk:Disc golf, and Talk:Goaltimate. I would like to know if others tink that there should be a combined article. Please leave comments at User talk:WAvegetarian/Disc games. —WAvegetarian•CONTRIBUTIONSTALK• EMAIL• 16:39, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, definitely in favor of a combined article! --Liface 19:19, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- I just noticed that there is a whole list of games that could be combined at Frisbee.—WAvegetarian•CONTRIBUTIONSTALK• EMAIL• 00:03, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
Combo article
editI'm hitting another crunch time in my studies, so I will try to get a combo article written towards the end of next week. —WAvegetarian•CONTRIBUTIONSTALK• EMAIL• 16:06, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me, from a mergist standpoint. Should the name be
- Disc games
- List of disc games
- List of flying disc games
- Flying disc games ...?
- Whichever title gets picked, the other three (and others) can redirect there as well. --Christopherlin 18:59, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- I guess Flying disc games woud be more appropriate. I don't really want to call it a list, as I expect each will have a stub about it. I feel like lists are more skeletal than that, but I don't have strong feelings about it. —WAvegetarian•CONTRIBUTIONSTALK• EMAIL• 23:59, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
I have created and populated Flying disc games ... incidentally before finding this page ;-) Sbwoodside 04:04, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
