good job with the VCU article! --StevenL 23:03, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Your edits to Virginia Commonwealth University
editThank you so much for all the information you put into the VCU article. I learned a lot in the process of editing your work, and you've added the first new details I've seen in the VCU article for quite some time. I'm sorry to say, however, that much of your text had to be deleted for one or more of the following reasons:
- It did not conform to Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy
- It was not cited
- It discussed other subjects that already have articles
- It discussed subjects that would go well in other articles
The good news is that some of the text you've submitted can be used to create new articles which don't yet exist on Wikipedia. I hope you'll consider adding these articles, citing sources where possible, and linking them to the VCU page. Instead of adding information about other subjects to the VCU page, we can point people to articles that describe them in full.
Because many of the subjects you wrote about already have articles, I would encourage you to add your information to those articles as well, citing sources if possible. Did you know, for example, that Wikipedia has an article on Norman Shumway but not David M. Hume? The article on Shumway does not reference VCU or MCV.
Again, thanks for your contributions, and I look forward to working with you. --Omaryak 11:39, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
Is there any reason for such a formal title? Is there any other Egyptian Building in the world that would require such specificity? --Omaryak 03:25, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
