Bill Chuck moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Bill Chuck, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. edit- Robert,
- Thank you for taking the time to review this entry. If you could give me just a couple of examples of where citations might help this, I will take it from there (removing items when appropriate)

- I am Bill Chuck. I'm an author of two books and a columnist in the Chicago Sun-Times. I have worked with a number of the top baseball writers in the US and have been published on numerous websites and in many newspapers and magazines. I've been a television personality and an award-winning scriptwriter. I am trying to get this up in the next week or so, prior to the publication of my newest book.
- Please, please assist me in getting this onto Wikipedia so that I don't have to concentrate my time on this. Your help is greatly appreciated. Walkoffs (talk) 16:19, 9 April 2022 (UTC)

I'm sorry to bother you with this, but my new book with Bob Ryan will be out shortly and we media members clamoring for a wiki. Again, I thank you in advance. - You are very kind to explain to me the issue. However, I must respectfully comment that I have readers of the Sun-Times asking about my background after unsuccessfully searching for me on Wikipedia. The same is true for my media colleagues. I am a well-known entity in many professional circles and the fact that I am still producing and actively working should not be construed as promotional as opposed to encyclopedic worthy.
- I find your comments of great value and I will happily make any edits to my description that enable me to avoid answering every query from readers, media members, and colleagues about my background on an individual basis.
- Again I thank you for your time and patience, Walkoffs (talk) 13:29, 10 April 2022 (UTC)

- Hello, Walkoffs,
- I noticed that you recreated this article after it was deleted today. Drafts that have been deleted simply for not being edited in at least six months can be restored upon request. So, if you would like the history of this draft restored, I can easily take care of that for you if you have content that you'd like to access for your new version of the article. If you would prefer to "start fresh" then we can leave it all deleted. But let me know if you'd like the entire history of this draft article restored. Good luck! Liz Read! - Liz, that is very kind of you. I'm so frustrated in attempting to get this bio listed that I thought I would start from scratch. This has proven to be an awful experience. You are the first person to show this kind of kindness. If I could just create a version that is published, I would have peace of mind. Walkoffs (talk) 17:21, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
- Liz - after giving it some thought, I have a number of links that would be valuable in that draft. Could you please restore it for me?
- Thank you again for your kindness Walkoffs (talk) 21:49, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
