- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Template:Elon Musk series, you may be blocked from editing. Please stop fueling an edit war on Template:Elon Musk series. QRep2020 (talk) 21:49, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
- Maybe if you were less biased with Elon related edits no-one would have any problems. Warbayx (talk) 08:10, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
April 2022
editRegarding your edits to Elon Musk-related topics, please see our neutral point of view policy. If your intent is to bend articles to your particular viewpoint, you will not have fun here. Schierbecker (talk) 13:35, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
- Trying to balance out the Elon Musk hate on here for sure, I do have a problem with the short sellers like QRep2020 who has a shady history of edits having so much influence on everything Elon Musk on here. Not sure how you think any of his edits are balanced. Warbayx (talk) 15:51, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
- I'm going to direct you to WP:NPA#WHATIS. False accusations against other editors are not welcome here. Schierbecker (talk) 05:05, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
Chime in
editHello, you probably remember me as a guy who maintain SpaceX Starship article; in fact, we have had a discussion somewhere on a Musk-related article I think. I know that dealing with other people with opposing viewpoints such as QRep2020 can be pretty frustrating, but given on what I know about this place, they are far nicer than you might think a rando on the internet may be. I do agree that at some articles, people write too much about a negative aspect of the subject, but it is vital that all widely held criticisms must be mentioned to make sure that the article is neutral, due, and impartial. Think how bad and monotonous an article would be if you just mention the positive side of things! It's entirely up to you if you want to stay here and help out on difficult yet important articles, or just taking advantage of Wikipedia to spread your own opinion, in which the latter would quickly get you banned. So, I would suggest you to collaborate with other editors, regardless of their viewpoints about Musk, so that articles would become more rich and comprehensive. Remember, it is neat that you don't have to agree XYZ to achieve a neutral point of view, you just need to say someone has stated their XYZ opinion. Do you want to get banned?
editBecause that's how you get banned. Schierbecker (talk) 19:21, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
Discretionary sanctions notice
editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
