Uncivil discussion with editor Robert Walker

edit

Please do not attack other editors, as you did on Talk:Concerns for an early Mars sample return. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.

Warren -- Please keep it on the content of the encyclopedia rather than the state of another editor's mind. And keep interaction with other editors civil.

In my view, your comment about editor Robert Walker ("...Robert, you must be out of your frackin' mind.") is just one example on that Talk page. Cheers. N2e (talk) 01:42, 9 June 2013 (UTC) N2e (talk) 01:42, 9 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Dear N2e, having been in the receiving end of Robert Walker's obnoxious trolling behavior, I'd say that Warren has shown an astonishing self-control. CHeers, BatteryIncluded (talk) 23:30, 16 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Arbitration case request declined

edit

Hello, this is a courtesy notice to inform you that the request for arbitration regarding Mars, in which you were named as a party, has been declined to be heard by the Arbitration Committee. The Arbitrators felt that as well as there being content aspects to this dispute that tensions are begining to ease. They suggested that if issues with individual editors can be brought to easlier steps in the dispute resolution process or to ANI. Please see the Arbitrators' comments for further suggestions. Hi WarrenPlatts,

I was following a interesting line of thoughts by a Warren Platts on a.net and wanted to ask: Was that you? Kindest regards, Tony Mach (talk) 15:53, 8 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yep, that would be me... I see on your blog that you think that there would not be enough fuel for a long flight to the south? I'm thinking that it should have had enough, assuming that it was at standard cruising speed and altitude. The fuel planners I looked at both called for enough fuel to last 7.5 hours for a KUL to PEK flight. Presumably, that's for an aircraft fly at cruising speed, so if no low altitude hijinks were conducted, then it should have had enough fuel for the path.
