Bloated leads

edit

WP:LEAD is a summary of the *most* notable aspects of an actor's career, and not an unending listing of credits and awards. Also, removing messages and warnings from other editors without engaging with their concerns is not how this collaborative website functions. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 06:24, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the heads up on the bloated leads. Sorry if I seemed rude with my reverts or edits, I'll try to be kinder from here on out if I offended you. :)
On another note, I saw you edit Bollywood pages a lot. I grew up on Bollywood, so that's neat to see. You're someone who has done good/featured articles; for articles about people or listicles, do you have any tips? I hope one day to make an article or a listicle that is brief/has no issues. (I have made a listicle also, with List of awards and nominations received by Jennifer Carpenter and contributed to Jessica Rothe for examples!)
Again, I extend my apologies if I was rude, and thank you <3 Watagwaan (talk) 02:46, 4 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Heya, thank you for the reply. Things can get heated at the spur of the moment sometimes, so there's no reason for you to apologise.
Yep, I'm Indian, so I do love Indian cinema as much as the American ones. I'd say for leads, focus on being brief and also ensure that there's some flow between sentences, particularly for actor's credits and awards, or else it can get quite monotonous for an average reader. I wish you all the best, and thank you for being kind. :) Krimuk2.0 (talk) 06:39, 4 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! I'm Indian as well. I'll try to remember what you saidC, and also it's important for me to apologize! Doesn't matter if it gets heated, ultimately it doesn't excuse me being rude. :) Watagwaan (talk) 17:44, 4 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
