Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sotiris Manolopoulos, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Assistant. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Image uploads

edit

Taking an image from a company's website and creating a copy of your PC does not create you a copyright on the resultant image. Please read WP:Image use policy before uploading any more images as what you are doing at the moment is a breach of copyright. Nthep (talk) 16:53, 22 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Stop Editing NOW and get unblocked first!!!

edit

Dear user, I just wanted to give you some hints in order to become better at editing Wikipedia. Then I found out that your new account is obviously there to evade the indefinite block of your previous account User:WaterIsland. PLEASE DON'T DO THIS! This is a serious breach of Wikipedia policy and will get you deeper and deeper into trouble.
Now there is a way out:

  1. Understand that having your account indefinitely blocked is a real problem for your further participation in Wikipedia, meaning you're banned!
  2. Understand that evading that block evasion only makes the situation worse.
  3. STOP EDITING now, until your original account has been unblocked.
  4. Now openly admit you're the same user as User:WaterIsland, then we don't have to open a sockpuppet investigation.
  5. To appeal the block of your original account, first read the guide to appealing blocks
  6. Then, add the following template to User talk:WaterIsland and fill it out giving a good reason: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
  7. After you got unblocked, you will get your WP:Clean start, but not before.
  8. TALK to us! As far as I have seen, you haven't answered any of the alerts, warnings and simple questions on User talk:WaterIsland. You don't have to talk much, but we need to be able to do some basic communication with you, in case there is a problem with one of your edits.

From what I saw, I'm quite sure you're just unexperienced. If you had openly talked with those who came up to you, then all of this wouldn't have happened. If you start communicating now, then everything's going to be fine again. But do yourself the favor to carefully read and follow the steps I proposed to you. I did this because I want you to get accepted again, after you learned from your mistakes.
With the best wishes, PanchoS (talk) 21:25, 22 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

December 2015

edit

You've been given good advice about how to proceed by User:PanchoS and as your behaviour with this account has continued the behaviour of your original account and you have continued uploading copyright breaches, a block from editing is unavoidable. Nthep (talk) 22:34, 22 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

edit

Hello, WaterIsland95. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
