Your recent edits

edit

I am concerned by your recent edit on Battle of Nà Sản where you made this edit: [1], you don't just delete a valid reference just because another source disagrees with it. Similarly on Battle of Mạo Khê with this edit: [2] the page contained referenced Viet Minh casualty figures. Please ensure that you edit carefully to ensure that references are not lost and validly sourced, even if conflicting figures are included. Mztourist (talk) 06:45, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Standard message

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Balkans or Eastern Europe. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of largest empires, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. The material you added failed verification, and area and year need to come from the same source. TompaDompa (talk) 00:42, 17 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Waylon1104. You added a reference for "Virginia Spectator 1860" to Alexander Suvorov, but no such work is defined in the article. Could you add the cite or let me know which work this refers to? -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested transmissions °co-ords° 13:17, 17 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Battle of Novi (1799)

Hi, mate, as I'm new to the wiki, could you tell me if it's possible to use other encyclopedias as sources here? Also, let's say I take information from a documentary or lectures of historians, how do I mark it as my source... if it can be marked at all Enfeed (talk) 07:33, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

P.S.: i figured out that you can't get encyclopedias from Wikisource, so I corrected everything everywhere. Enfeed (talk) 07:34, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Undefined sfn reference in Battle of Vĩnh Yên

edit

Hi, in this edit to Battle of Vĩnh Yên you introduced an sfn reference to "Luguern 1997" but did not define the source. This means that nobody can look it up, and also adds the article to Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors. If you could supply the missing source and correct the error that would be appreciated.   Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Battle of the Chernaya, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you.
