This does not strike me as a very good use of yours (or my) time. In moving an in-progress article, you have broken a good number of links. You have also generated additional work, for no clear benefit. I created a stub article for a foundation that had been linked to already (with redlinks that were fixed but are now broken again) and which had been mentioned on literally dozens of other articles (and used as a reliable source on many more) that I was in the process of updating. You can see from my edit history that I am actively editing a number of related articles. You could have simply contacted me, rather than disrupting that work. Please rethink your goals here, since blind adherence to policy and disruption of good-faith contributions is a surefire way to alienate members of the community. --Wclark (talk) 00:47, 14 June 2019 (UTC)

So apparently the policy on this is that I'm allowed to object at AfD and then the page has to be moved back to mainspace — but then I have to waste even more time in a discussion about the merits of a page for a foundation that had been linked/cited in twenty different articles prior to my creating the page. I'm not doing that; it's a waste of time and energy. I will continue to update and improve the draft, and just leave the links broken for now. Again, I would urge you to think about the impact this kind of thing has on the morale of contributors. It doesn't help the project. In fact, you broke half a dozen links by doing what you did. I don't see how that's better than letting a stub article hang around for a few hours while it's actively being improved. Yes, apparently I should've just created this in draft space to begin with.
