thank you for adding links, but we don't link common things, such as current countries and their capitals. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:34, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 27
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Crown Bioscience International, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Asian market. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

'Citations needed' tag
editHello. I noticed that you've added a "citations needed" tag to Dragoslav Jovanović (Serbian politician, born 1951). I have to admit that I'm a little puzzled by this; could you clarify what would require a citation? CJCurrie (talk) 23:41, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
Ref
editYou added a ref regarding Tannhäuser in 2005 in Minden, - the ref dates from the 19th century, that seems strange. I commented it out. Did you mean a different fact? -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:43, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
- I will clarify this edit. Wd Dabbir (talk) 07:32, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
- That's good. Different aspect: don't make what we call "cosmetic" edits, such as making no other change than adding a comma after a year. In British English, that comma is not needed, and even in American English, nobody will be confused by it missing. In case you don't know: articles often show what kind of English at the beginning of the edit mode version. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:16, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Alleged "non notability" - Dudley Dix
editIn yacht design circles, Dudley Dix is regarded with esteem and affection for having designed very many boats, both little and large, drawing the clearest of plans that enabled builders to create these vessels. There are already some three independent references (an earlier critic having removed several references that a reader would have found useful or essential). Of course this topic is notable1 Arrivisto (talk) 12:09, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
- dear @Arrivisto! thank you for dropping a message here. Maybe you are rigth and I don't have any objections. however, as a neutral obsever I cannot find many reliable independent sources which must prove notability. this is the only was - to give more good sources with deep coverage. Wd Dabbir (talk) 12:15, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @Wd Dabbir, Thanks for your comments, which I take to be constructive criticism. Please be assured that I will do my best to find and use reliable third-party sources on notability. Arrivisto (talk) 12:25, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, I have now added material & 3rd part refs for the "radial chine ply" building technique which Dix invented and which has since been adopted worldwideby boatbuilders. I consider this to be a notable fact, and accordingly have removed your tag. I hope you approve. Arrivisto (talk) 15:51, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
