Speedy deletion nomination of Raddo Games
editA tag has been placed on Raddo Games requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. H8erade (talk) 19:27, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Oriel Specialist Maths and Computing College
editHi. I appreciate your efforts to add to this page. I've reverted your edits for now, although I think there's useful things that can be added to the article.
The key is that you will need to be able to cite stuff you add to this - especially as you clearly have an element of conflict of interest. There must be articles in the Mercury or EDP that will provide useful information about the school. You also need to make sure you can justify points like it having a "vast" amount of computers (trust me, 6 per room in one area of the school isn't a lot...). It'd be good to talk about new building and so on but the points need to be verifiable through third party sources (i.e. not the school website alone).
I'm sure there must be plenty of stuff locally about the school's history as well. This article has been on my list of things to do for a while now - let's see if we can work to sort it out, yes? Blue Square Thing (talk) 22:40, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
