A question about a new article

edit

Hi Wegianwarrior. When I was reading the articles about the illuminati and new world order theories here I was checking if they are objective and take a neutral stance, but the problem is that I don't see the symbolism described which is often mentioned about the illuminati. I 'm currently creating a seperate article for it which starts to become long, but I want to know if it will be accepted, because I don't want hours spent on writing an article in which I objectively describe symbolism to be deleted while I spent a lot of work on it. How can I provide sources and where can I do this? Bokareis (talk) 21:29, 28 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Why is this unrelated trivia?

edit

Hello, I agree with removing parts which are unrelevant in my article Illuminati symbolism, but I don't really see how the mentioning of Spongebob is unrelevant, I added this because in the article at Liberty Voice references were made to the Spongebob episode in an article writing about the conspiracy theory. People obviously interpret it as illuminati symbolism and therefore it might be worth mentioning. Also, tv.com mentions in their trivia that the episode is a parody of freemasonry, instead of "the work of some secret organization".

In the Spongebob episode "Cephalopod Lodge" references to freemasonry are made, the episode is a parody of freemasonry.[1]

Bokareis (talk) 16:42, 30 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I agree with you. It is connected to the illuminati by fans, but you are right that this isn't stated in the trivia or any other reliable source like a newspaper, therefore if it's mentioned at wikipedia it might fit better in an article about freemasonry and examples of parodies of freemasonry. What do you think of merging my article with the Illuminati in pop culture article, the pop culture article is missing certain parts which are explained in my article, like fans of pop artists relating certain things to the illuminati and the criticism of the claims of illuminati symbolism, which I wrote about in 'criticism'. Though, there would be some modifications needed for a merge, the sub 'criticism' could be confusing in the pop culture article and should rather be 'criticism of illuminati symbolism'. The problem however is that some parts are not related to pop culture and more to the symbolism itself. Bokareis (talk) 18:43, 30 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Mormonism in Christian Opposition to Freemasonry.

edit

Hello. Mormonism does not really fit the definition of Christianity. Its more different from Christianity than Islam or Freemasonry for that matter are. Christianity is a monotheistic religion, Christians believe God has eternally been God, that God is the creator of all things, that he is not created, and that he is not of the same species as man. Islam believes that to. Those Masons who interpret Freemasonry as a religion usually also believe that. Mormons believe God was originally a man, that he lived on another planet, that he followed the precepts of his God, that his God elevated him to godhood, and that God is of the same species as man. They believe God begets spirit children through sex with his wives, and the spirit children are reincarnated on earth in human bodies. Mormons believe that there are an unlimited number of gods in the universe. I think include Mormonism in an article about Christian opposition to Freemasonry would be like including Islam in that article. Also Muslims and Mormons have a similar understanding of Jesus. They both consider him a prophet, not a god. So the fact the Mormons believe in Jesus is irrelevant, so do Muslims. --PaulBustion88 (talk) 18:32, 12 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you're on the square, fraternal greetings to you. If you're not on the square, fraternal greetings to you anyway.
