Hey... Just wondering why you uploaded Image:Untitled (How Could This Happen To Me)-Simple Plan Single.jpg when Image:UntitledCover.jpg exists (existed, anyhow)? At a quick glance they appear to be exactly the same. —97198 talk 08:11, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Problem with externally linked media from userspace

Hi, It is noted that you link to media content (such as for example a You Tube account) from one or more of your user pages.

However, a quick glance at the material linked, suggests that it is re-using content from a copyrighted work, WP:EL Strongly recommends against linking to material which may contain potential copyright infringments, or which does not fall within the bounds of fair-use.

If you are the creator of the material, ensure you provide evidence of this fact alongside the media content you link to.

If you did not create the material, then you should encourage the indviduals directly responsible for it to indicate that they have the appropriate rights to all content (includign soundtrack) they use.

If you cannot be clear about the status of material used, then it should not be linked from Wikipedia, and probably should not be uploaded on You Tube either.

Message from the My Chemical Romance task force

Hello!

You may be interested to know that the WikiProject My Chemical Romance has recently been transformed into a task force of WikiProject Emo. Please visit the task force page to see what's new. This move allies the task force with a larger WikiProject that handles much of the administrative overload, thus allowing task force members to focus on the most important activity: article improvement.

The project's membership list has also been moved to the new task force page. If you see that your username is in the "Inactive/former members" section, please do not take offense; this is because you no longer appear to be active on Wikipedia. We may also take the liberty of removing the member userbox from your userpage if it appears there, to prevent you from automatically appearing in Category:My Chemical Romance task force members. Gaming screenshots are non-free content and thus must meet all the components of non-free content criteria; your image File:HaloCombatEvolved-Multiplayer.jpg does not meet it for several reasons, including lack of justification in critical commentary and excessively high resolution.
