Welcome
editHi Westius, I spotted your edits on a few Australian music articles, which leads me to suspect that you're Australian! If so, I recommend checking out the Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board. Also handy is Wikipedia:WikiProject Melbourne (or Sydney, or Perth, or...).
Nice job with Piano rock, btw (although I personally prefer the term 'piano pop' -- maybe 'cause I so strongly associate rock with guitars). You might want to check out the Manual of Style -- or even just model it on an existing page like Power pop. But I would definitely add it to at least one category, I hate seeing orphaned articles! Category:Rock music genres would probably be a good start.
I have written a few notes about writing music-related articles that you might find useful. Anyway, if you have any questions, feel free to drop me a line on my Talk page. cheers! --pfctdayelise 13:42, 23 November 2005 (UTC)
- No problem. As I said, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Also, please sign all your comments on all Talk pages. If you type four tildes (like this: ~~~~), it will automatically put your username and a timestamp. pfctdayelise 23:35, 23 November 2005 (UTC)
Science/law
editHaha, thanks. To be honest, I'm not quite sure about the law part - science is pretty cool. If you don't mind me asking, what did you major in science? And how come you didn't complete the law part? Enochlau 02:54, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

As far as I know this is also known as 'the National Ricoh Championship', Ricoh being the sponsor. If this is the case could you clarify it in the article. While I'm about it there is a Wikipedia:WikiProject Rugby union, if you are interested in joining, click on the link and take a look.GordyB 10:41, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
Ah. It's more complicated than I thought then. I was under the impression that 'State of the Union' was the real name for the 'National Ricoh' just as the Heineken Cup is actually called the European Rugby Cup.
In any case I think the one article should refer to similar tournaments held in the past. The article on the six nations championship begins with the home nations championship (no France or Italy) and covers the five nations championship as well. There are other examples of this I could cite as well.
Thanks for signing up to the project.GordyB 12:24, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
Really?

Piano rock
editIf Allmusic.com has an article on the genre, then that should be an acceptable reference for the Wikipedia article. You just need to provide a citation for the specific piece of information and/or create a References section before the External links. See Jazz, Hip hop music for similar use of references. --Madchester 16:10, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Diffusionlogo.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Diffusionlogo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:04, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I was just looking over the list of members on the Podcasting group and wanted to see if you were still active in the project. If so, it looks like the project could use a little jump-start. In particular, I think notability requirements and assessment guidelines could be added/updated. Please check out the page if you're still interested and move your name to the 2011 active list. Thanks! Udeezy (talk) 23:16, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Nomination of Plus Magazine for deletion
editThe article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Plus Magazine until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.
The article Mr Science Show has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not pass WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TipsyElephant (talk) 16:21, 15 September 2021 (UTC)
