Kars sayfasında MarshallBagramyan adlı bir kullanıcı Kars maddesini gasp edip, Ermenice versiyonundaki adını bırakıp diğer dillerdeki versiyonlarını hep siliyor. Tartışma sayfasında gerekçesi de objektif değil çünkü Kars'ın diğer etnisitelerini ve tarihlerini kasten göz ardı eden bir milliyetçi anlayışı var. Savunması da bu yönde.

Ve bu tartışma sayfasında senelerdir çözülmüş değil çünkü öyle bir niyet yok, ve denetimciler tarafından göz yumuluyor.

Hangi duyarlı Vikipedist artık bunu ciddiye alıp, tek taraflı "değişiklikleri" denetleyip dur diyecek?

Çünkü adeta lobi faaliyetlerin Vikipedideki yansıması bu ve hiç kimse bir göz atıp dur demiyor, maalesef Türk Vikipedistler de dahil. Wolves

I'd bet they were Eurasian, as Caspian sea wolves are now considered invalid, and part of the Canis lupus lupus subspecies.Mariomassone (talk) 14:37, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

That would have to go on the subspecies map, which needs updating anyway. Try bringing it up on the article talk page. I'm not the expert on graphic map design, though there are other contributors who are.Mariomassone (talk) 08:19, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

Leopards

Hi, you certainly have a point here. I went back and found that the 75 figure was [added by an IP] on 18 September, and there's no source for that. Unfortunately, your assertion that the Persian leopard is "most probably extinct," while possibly true, is WP:OR and needs a source. But I've restored your edit anyway; maybe we can think of a better was to describe the absence of these animals. Thanks. --Seduisant (talk) 20:44, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

As a matter of fact, looking at the list that precedes this edit, there are many other countries with leopard numbers attributed to them. Where did they come from? Looked at the IUCN source and can't seem to locate them. More research needed on this. Thanks.--Seduisant (talk) 20:50, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Wolf ~ Coyote ~ Jackal

Çok ilginç tespitlerin var. Monografik bilgim yok fakat, Kurtlarla (gündüzcül ve gececil) Çakal (gececil) arasında olmayıp Coyote (eskiden gündüzcül şimdi ayrıca gececil) arasında olan hüsumet —akla en yakın fikre göre— "avdaşlık rekabeti" olmalı. Her ikisi de zaman zaman aynı ava (tavşan ve kemirgenler) odaklanan türler. Eski Dünyanın çakalları görünümce farklı oldukları kurtlarla karşılaşmaktan çekinirler (yani hadlerini bilirler). Fakat Yeni Dünyanın Coyoteleri görünümce benzediği kurtlarla karşılaşmaktan çekinmezler (ve kurt da onlara haddini bildirir!). Bir Çakalı Yellowstone'a bıraksak Kurtlar bu gurbetçi avdaşını kesinlikle affetmez. Bir Coyoteyi Balkanlara salsak, kendini "çakal" değil "kurt" gibi gördüğü için kabadayılığını canıyla öder.
