Speedy deletion nomination of Category:PWHL Minnesota coaches
editA tag has been placed on Category:PWHL Minnesota coaches indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 04:15, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
"Minnesota Frost players" category reversions
editSo I've been going through all the "PWHL Minnesota players" category members, and I was almost finished when I refreshed my watchlist to see that you had dutifully removed all of my "Minnesota Frost players" categories.
I don't wanna edit-war, and I don't wanna make more work for either/both of us.
I concur that nobody's played for the "Minnesota Frost" team yet. Would you propose to keep both "PWHL Minnesota players" as well as "Minnesota Frost players" categories? I was in the process of attempting to remove all "PWHL Minnesota *" categories and replace with similar "Minnesota Frost *" categories, because it doesn't feel (to me) like both sets of categories need to be kept around. --MikeVitale 04:15, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
- From what I can tell relocations and rebrands become subcategories, so PWHL Minn players would be a subcategory of Minn Frost players, and the same for coaches etc. I've requested CFD/S for the other five teams' categories proper. Wheatzilopochtli (talk) 04:17, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
Contested page move
editI have twice contested your page move at CHL Import Draft. As per WP:BRD, please start a discussion if you disagree. Best wishes. Flibirigit (talk) 11:35, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
- I didn't realize that I had previously moved it only for it to be contested, my apologies Wheatzilopochtli (talk) 12:04, 11 September 2024 (UTC)

Reversal of edits on Logan Mailloux and Joshua Roy
editYour persistant reversal of edits to both Logan Mailloux and Joshua Roy are disruptive and consitute WP:WAR; wording is derived directly from likewise players on Laval Rocket roster. 2605:B100:B0E:14D2:7844:C096:7893:2649 (talk) 17:53, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- As you are a blocked user evading their block, my reversals of your edits are exempt from the three revert rule Wheatzilopochtli (talk) 17:58, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- I am reporting this to administrators. What you are doing is not right. 2605:B100:B0E:14D2:7844:C096:7893:2649 (talk) 18:01, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter what you say, WP:3RR states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page—whether involving the same or different material—within a 24-hour period. An edit or a series of consecutive edits that undoes or manually reverses other editors' actions—whether in whole or in part—counts as a revert. Violations of this rule often attract blocks of at least 24 hours. Fourth reverts just outside the 24-hour period will usually also be considered edit-warring, especially if repeated or combined with other edit-warring behavior, in your case you are edit warring. Jesse Ylönen
editYour recent edits to Jesse Ylönen appear to be in direct violation of WP:EDITWAR and also constitutes WP:OWN.
Upon review of page history, you are the sole user who has taken issue with the use of "foregoing" despite this adjective being compliant with standards as outlined by WP:MODLANG.
Similarly, the removal of wikilink due to perceived link ambiguity is not valid. The insertion of an apostrophe between proper nouns differentiates these from MOS:SEAOFBLUE.
Edit-warring over style, or enforcing preferential style without prior consensus is never acceptable. If you believe an alternative style would be more appropriate for a particular article, seek consensus by discussing this at the article's talk page or – if it raises an issue of more general application or with the MoS itself – at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style. 71.7.139.122 (talk) 01:28, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- While I believe you are a sock puppet of 47.54.219.33 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) and have treated you as such, I will respond to you in good faith:
- 1. Another user removed the phrase "the foregoing" in this edit.
- 2. When I said link ambiguity I was referring to MOS:LINKCLARITY and MOS:SPECIFICLINK.
- 3. If I am right that you are a sock puppet, and I am quite confident that I am right, I have not engaged in edit warring as per WP:3RRNO's third exemption. Wheatzilopochtli (talk) 02:15, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- Because this IP, along with other IPs that edit Canadiens-related content, is the same editor. Just look at the section above this or the section about Norlinder – same wording and opinion is used by the IPs. – sbaio 05:00, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
