editThe following bit on your user page is promotional, and violates WP:PROMO and WP:USERPAGE: "IACA is committed to sharing its expertise and knowledge with an interested public; it is therefore currently establishing a culture of pro-active outreach towards the . As an international organization, IACA is holding the participation of individuals across the world in special esteem and is hence attempting to enable the biggest possible number of people to benefit from its activities."
I don't know if the following is true, given the laws of the various jurisdictions of readers of Wikipedia, I am not sure what it even means, and is in any case bizarre to read on a Wikipedia userpage: "No legal obligation towards IACA shall be established due to activities by this account."
Please remove those two bits from your page. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 13:37, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

Editing with a conflict of interest
editHello, WiR IACA. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Largoplazo (talk) 16:37, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Largoplazo, thank you for your message. Would you mind telling me why you left this message here? Is there any editing from my side that required your kind cautioning by contradicting the policies? --WiR IACA (talk) 00:23, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
- Greetings. It's reasonable to caution everyone with a conflict of interest, such as you appear to have insofar as your user name suggests that you are associated with an organization about which you've been writing at Anti-corruption. When I saw this edit by Jytdog, I checked to see whether the guidelines had been drawn to your attention and they appeared not to have been, so I posted them. My posting this isn't an accusation of improper editing thus far, but, besides the cautions on editing, should it be the case that your editing is in the course of paid work, it lets you know that you're required to declare as much. If it isn't, then that part is of no consequence. Largoplazo (talk) 01:10, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
- Ok, I understand you. Thanks for the clarification. --WiR IACA (talk) 08:56, 25 September 2018 (UTC)

ArbCom 2018 election voter message
editHello, WiR IACA. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
