editHello, I'm Geraldo Perez. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Hannah Emily Anderson, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Geraldo Perez (talk) 03:43, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Yum Jung-ah, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 14:39, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Mina Sue Choi, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please do not add ethnicity to the lead per MOS:ETHNICITY or text that is not sourced in the article body. Sciencefish (talk) 09:47, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Miss Grand International 2023. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please read MOS:BOLD Sciencefish (talk) 17:04, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Andrea Rubio, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please do not remove citation needed templates without add a source per WP:BURDEN Sciencefish (talk) 13:55, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
Miss USA 2024 has been draftified
editAn article you recently created, Miss USA 2024, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ☆ Bri (talk) 03:17, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
- Further to this I have undone the addition of Miss USA 2024 to all the state articles - this is way too early and can be added after each 2024 winner is crowned ... CJ [a Kiwi] in Oz 10:01, 13 October 2023 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Template:Miss Universe did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. editHi, please don't change Filipina to Filipino for women from the Philippines. The Manual of Style for Philippines-related articles MOS:PH, clearly states: Filipina is used when referring to women, both as an adjective and as an adjectival noun. Examples: a Filipina poet, The company is run by a Filipina. Sciencefish (talk) 21:48, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
editHello Wictoriamalawi! Your additions to UmaSofia Srivastava have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 23:45, 16 November 2023 (UTC)

New Zealand / New Zealander
editThe correct adjective for someone from New Zealand is New Zealand, not New Zealander (which is a noun only). So it is correct to say that Lorraine Downes is a New Zealand beauty queen, and incorrect to say that she is a New Zealander beauty queen. Please stop changing to the incorrect form. editHello, I reverted the edits made in December to the Corinne Ben-Ami page. Please refer to the manual of style. The subject is an American; in addition, beauty queen is the correct title for the main winner in the Miss Israel competition. Justification was not provided for the substantive changes and edits to style and grammar. SunOnMyShoulders (talk) 23:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
Incorrect information on Macel Wilson
editI reverted your edit on Macel Wilson because it was inaccurate. When Wilson was born, it was the Territory of Hawaii. The State of Hawaiʻi was admitted in 1959, sixteen years after her birth. Peaceray (talk) 17:59, 5 March 2024 (UTC)

Your article has been moved to draft because it did not adequately demonstrate notability. While you are still learning to use Wikipedia correctly, please create all your articles in draft and await an independent review. Deb (talk) 07:49, 7 March 2024 (UTC)
Unreferenced pageants
editHello. When you reverted me here, you reintroduced a number of rows in the table that are unreferenced. Do you realize that referencing all material is required on Wikipedia, as explained in WP:V? This was explained to you in the very first addition to your talkpage above, from 13 October 2023. Please consider either un-doing that change, or adding the required references. ☆ Bri (talk) 15:20, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- Please take a look at WP:WikiProject Beauty Pageants/Sources before selecting a source for pageants. For example the one you recently added – world360news.com, aka "Chhattisgarh News" – is on the list as not reliable. ☆ Bri (talk) 22:16, 15 March 2024 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Sciencefish. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Laura Olascuaga, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please stop adding unsourced content, such as model to the lead. This needs to be referenced in the body, as the lead is built from the body. Sciencefish (talk) 11:43, 28 March 2024 (UTC)

Valereee (talk) 16:57, 13 May 2024 (UTC)- P-blocking from article space simply because this person seems not to understand what talk pages are for; three barely responsive edits to their own talk and none to any other talk page.
