Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your contributions to the Bective article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Happy editing! DVD+ R/W 00:37, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

If this is what you advise i will do so, but words are not copyrighted and neither is historical fact/fiction. CAn you please get back to me to let me know what is the best avenue to take. Thank You.
Also i have sent an email to the owners of the site asking permission..as follows
I have made an article in wikipedia using the text of the front page of your site on Bective Abbey. Would it be alright to use this text, this is not for any financial gain, just information for Bective Abbey. Regards Adam Sheridan
- The images that you've added are fine, you really need to write the article yourself though. It is ok if it is short, what we call a stub, and you can use that article at http://cistercians.shef.ac.uk/abbeys/bective.php, as a source but we cannot accept a copied text from another page. Thanks, DVD+ R/W 00:58, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- Wikipedia does not accept copy and paste contributions from website or other published material. Please take some time to review some of the basic information about contributions are not acceptable on Wikipedia. If you feel that Bective merits an article and falls within guidelines, please do not submit a copy from the website. It is better that it is re-written. However, be aware that there are a few policies that your submission should meet, including: verifiability (cite sources) and no original research. — ERcheck (talk) 00:58, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
REPLY That is fine if you reapply the page i will remove there text until/if i get acceptance from them and add my own small text until i know otherwise. Apologise for the inconvenience.
- The page will not be restored. Rather, when/if you are ready to write a new version of the article, simply re-create it. — ERcheck (talk) 01:37, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Just a note, please "sign" your comments on user and article discussion (talk) pages. You can do this by adding ~~~~ (4 tildes). — ERcheck (talk) 01:37, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
