The article on Mark Bland was deleted because of a discussion almost three years ago (it's located at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mark Bland). If you can find some reliable sources such as newspapers, trade magazines, or books that proves why he's significant enough to deserve people's attention, I can help you get on the right track in setting up an article. east.718 at 16:34, May 3, 2008
- Wikipedia may be an encyclopedia with a staggering breadth, but it isn't an indiscriminate collection of information or a directory of people either. I agree with you that the laundry list of things you mentioned may be enough for an article, but we can't just take mine or your word for it - you need to find some sources that back that up, we can go from there. I went quickly through Google News and didn't find anything - can you try and dig up some trade mags or dirt sheets that might mention him? east.718 at 18:17, May 3, 2008
- Do stay in touch - and no, sources can be online or offline. east.718 at 19:15, May 8, 2008
