Autoconfirmed?
editYou're missing a fairly large portion of the editing population, namely the autoconfirmed users. Most page protections are only semi-protection, not EC confirmed, so autoconfirmed users are still able to edit. Primefac (talk) 14:37, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Primefac:
Heya: Hmm thats a very good point I will factor in auto confirmed in with EC Wiki-Coffee Talk 14:43, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Primefac: One is going to have to do a deep delve into Wikipedia statistics to find the active auto-confirmed user number count. I also need to factor in non-member editors into the overall editing user count. Wiki-Coffee Talk 14:50, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Primefac: Issue resolved. Wiki-Coffee Talk 15:19, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
- Your numbers are horribly off. There is no way that there are only 10% of active users that are autoconfirmed. Keep in mind that anyone who is EC is also AC. Primefac (talk) 15:20, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Primefac: I have sourced the numbers from https://reportcard.wmflabs.org/#core-graphs-tab and calculated it based on those. Before I used the numbers on Wikipedia's "Wikipedian page" which seem to be way-off. Wiki-Coffee Talk 15:22, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Primefac: I have also factored in data from https://reportcard.wmflabs.org/#secondary-graphs-tab. Using an equation of new editors who don't meet the threshold for AC, those who meet the threshold requirements for auto-confirmed groups by edit count and total number of editors with 5+ edits per month.
