- @Chris troutman
- Thanks for your answer.
- I actually only went to translate because I wanted to translate the German article into English. Did I do something wrong?
- Kind regards, WikiScis WikiScis (talk) 17:20, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
- German-language Wikipedia is an entirely different entity than English-language Wikipedia, even though the servers are owned by the same non-profit. They have their own rules for regarding article content, so translating an article from another wiki to here is not necessarily going to lead to publication. Worse, the article in German is insufficient by their standards and they've not deleted it yet, so replicating this content in English has made matters worse. As stated above, the case for notability has to be made through multiple independent reliable sources. What you copied over mostly cites files.community which is not, so far as I can tell, a reliable source: it's a crowd-sourced website which is never allowed. Please read WP:N and WP:RS as well as WP:FIRST. Why did you choose to translate this over, anyway? Chris Troutman (talk) 17:34, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Chris troutman
- Thank you for your quick response. I chose to translate this article because I wrote it myself. I wanted to publish the article for the English Wikipedia - like on the German Wikipedia - because I enjoy publishing articles with high-quality information. This article was published in the German Wikipedia, which shows me that I have not written this article wrongly, even if you think that this article is not good enough for Wikipedia.
- Greeting,

- It's regrettable you substituted my judgement for your own. I've nominated the German-language article for deletion. Since you wrote the original German article, how are you connected to the subject? Your goal of
"publishing articles with high-quality information"
is not evinced by your contributions so far. Chris Troutman (talk) 19:10, 30 May 2023 (UTC)- There's no reason to argue, but I have to say this now:
- I don't think it's appropriate for you to dictate other people's opinions. Do you think you always get off that easy? That you can scold people? What do not you like? WHY don't you like the article?
- Why do you like to "scold" me? Did I do anything to you? - No!
- I accept it if you don't want the article in English Wikipedia - it's your own fault.
- But I don't want you to interfere in things that only affect you passively. Maybe you like to make Wikipedia better; but after the article has already been viewed, there are also people who appreciate my articles AND the time I put into the work and don't just scold me. I ask you; stay out of the German and mind the English; less is often more. WikiScis (talk) 19:37, 30 May 2023 (UTC)

- Sorry, but which question are you referring to now? Do you mean how I am connected to the project? I just like the app. WikiScis (talk) 04:06, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks; that's the question I asked. Chris Troutman (talk) 03:10, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
