Internal Biblical Evidence of Jesus' Historicity

edit

It looks like this article will be deleted from Wikipedia (WP) in the next day or two. We appreciate the work and thought that has gone into it. However, it is 'Original Research' which is one of the categories not permitted on WP (all articles have to be verifiable against outside sources).

My suggestion is that you put it on your personal website and you can then set a link to it from a suitable WP article. BlueValour 03:15, 19 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

This could possibly be linked to the Historicity of Jesus article.  (aeropagitica)  (talk)  07:05, 19 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

This article will be deleted. Just in case it is, I have stored a copy at User:Wikilagata/Internal Biblical Evidence of Jesus' Historicity if you want to copy it to a personal Website. —Mets501 (talk) 13:42, 19 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source for Image:06 15 05 ortiz tn.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:06 15 05 ortiz tn.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 02:33, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Globalwarmingandsundata1.JPG

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Globalwarmingandsundata1.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:08, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Heystoopidac.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Heystoopidac.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. βcommand 21:57, 11 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image source problem with Image:Chris Hammond.jpg

edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Chris Hammond.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:43, 6 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rossrs (talk) 12:43, 6 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Twisted Tea

edit

The article Twisted Tea has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article gives no indication that this is a notable product.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Immaculate Conception - Orthodox view

edit

In an edit summary to the article Immaculate Conception you said this: "qualified Met. Kallistos' are as representing the ecumenical wing of Eastern Orthodoxy". I don't understand what this means - are you saying that Kallistos doesn't represent Orthodoxy? This matters, as we need to give the representative view from the Orthodox church. Achar Sva (talk) 03:18, 16 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yes, this is the opinion of one Bishop. There are several conciliar documents, representing several Bishops, which reject the Immaculate Conception. The 1895 Council of Constantinople does so explicitly.wikilagata(talk) 14:28, 25 November 2020
