With computers, there should be an easy way to reference data already populated from existing templates. For example, pagename.infobox.infoboxname.field.value [Duke Ellington].infobox.jazz musician.born.value would be an easy way to get the birth date.

As an alternative, pagename.person.birthdate might be a shortcut to get the same data.
