Editing "subtitles?"

The descriptions displayed in mobile search are taken from Wikidata. Click "Desktop" at the bottom of a mobile page to get the desktop version, and then click "Wikidata item" under "Tools" in the left pane, for example leading to tungsten (Q743). I don't know a way to get directly from mobile to the Wikidata item. PrimeHunter (talk) 20:18, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

On Tungsten, first click "Desktop" at the bottom of the whole page if you have such a link. If you have a link saying "Mobile view" then you are already on the Desktop version. If you have neither link then you may be using some app with another user interface I don't know. When you are on the desktop version of the Tungsten article, the left side of the page has menus. One of them has heading "Tools" and one of the links below that says "Wikidata item". Or just click the direct link I gave above: tungsten (Q743). PrimeHunter (talk) 20:44, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

Yes it was changed in [1], probably by a user who saw your Teahouse post. A purge of this page would have turned your user page link blue without needing to edit the page. See Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. PrimeHunter (talk) 17:18, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

A scientific theory is when there's evidence. - A scientific theory - normally yes, but we are talking about a crackpot. And in such context the word "theory" is pretty common, especially if a crackpot alleges evidence; e.g. in case of a conspiracy theory. Staszek Lem (talk) 20:10, 28 February 2017 (UTC)

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, WikipediaUserCalledChris. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
