Request reason:

@Risker: Hi, can you unblock me? I had an account maybe a couple years ago but I had a lot going on as far as school and had some personal stuff going on too and became less active. (I think I had a little over 2,000 edits.) I am taking a gap year right now before I plan on starting college and am still living with my family at home in San Diego. My brother, most recently a Freshman, was complaining about being bored so I managed to get him hooked on Wikipedia. It ended up turning out that a moody high schooler looking for control is probably not a good match for Wikipedia. But still, he got addicted and I was blissfully ignorant, enjoying my peace amd quiet so I didn't heed him much attention. I should have been watching him better because he's had issues with cyberbullying in the past but he ended up pissing some people off and got his sorry a** blocked. I tried to make it into a learning moment telling him that in life as well as online, he has to deal with the consequences of his actions. I'll try to keep him from getting back on here on his phone data or anything else. But he told me that everyone on there was out to get him including some other crap and bet me 20 bucks if I could stay a week on here without getting a block because in his head, everyone else is wrong not him and I must be destined to fail because everyone on here is sooo evil. I accepted obviously to prove him wrong and get twenty bucks and also because I had nothing better to do (I had a job at RadioShack but they went out of business half a year ago.). I reset our router to get a new IP because it wouldn't let me create a new account and then made myself one. I got into the addictive world of editing again and I'll for sure be on here for more than the week for the bet (And this block doesn't count for that...hopefully). So thats what happened up until now. I did some research into his account after you said I was a sock and saw he did some screwed up stuff and I think now that I even would have given him the block. Since I'm not my brother and a different account owner, I am entitled to my own account and also that means that I am not a sock. My actions so far back that up as people like my brother can't control themselves well online and I haven't shown any of the telling signs of that. Secondly, I haven't gotten into any real feuds and have gotten along with almost anyone. Third, I think my actions show a sense of community that I didn't see sorting through his edits. And finally, I have only made constructive edits so far. I think that you can agree with me on all that so I think you should lift the block and then monitor me for a while, looking out for telling signs that my brother instead would be the operator of this account. I understand your reason for blocking my account but this is a weird situation. I think that that my suggestion is a fair solution to this that way I am not wrongfully blocked and you can know that you aren't letting a disruptive editor loose by undoing the block. Thank You. Request reason:

I just made an unblock request and it was denied because, "you're not here to build an encyclopedia." This by my actions is in fact not the case. So far, I have started a project page, Wikipedia:Treehouse (UPDATE: Max Semenik improperly deleted the Treehouse page and others that I spent hours on due to the suspicion that I was a sock. Please Look at my talk entry below for more info. Please also view these deleted pages old contents if you can to see the enormous effort I spent. And also please restore them all if MaxSem hasnt already due to the improper removal again explained below.), for collaboration on improving wikipedia. And if you look at that page, there is clearly a lot of work that was invested by myself all to help "build the encyclopedia." Also, I have links on my userpage providing services to custom create userboxes and templates for unique ones that I created. I think that all of that smashes the theory that I am not here to improve things. I am also requesting that a different admin than Max Semenik review this. And also I am requesting that an admin uninvolved with my brother, T.E.O.A.T.W., review this because after looking through what he was involved in, there is a lot of justified irritation out there towards him and I would not want that to rub off on my situation. I am allowed by policy to appeal again so please don't delete this. Here is my original message- Hi, can you unblock me? I agree with Max Semenik. You aren't here to contribute productively to an online encyclopedia. I don't buy the brother story, sorry. Per WP:DUCK, the editing patterns and language used by the two accounts are enough to convince me they were operated by the same user. We aren't interested in users who play games with multiples accounts, and I note that neither of your accounts has actually contributed content to any articles on Wikipedia ([1]; [2]). Request for Restoration of Improperly Deleted Pages

edit

Hi Max Semenik. You deleted User:Wikipenguin 8/Userboxes, User:Wikipenguin 8/Userboxes/CVU, and Wikipedia:Treehouse + All 4 or 5 treehouse subpages improperly. These are all pages I created but before my block. You used the g5 deletion template improperly for all of these. The g5 template policy states, "G5. Creations by banned or blocked users- Pages created by banned or blocked users in violation of their ban or block, and which have no substantial edits by others. G5 should not be applied to transcluded templates or to categories that may be useful or suitable for merging. To qualify, the edit must have been made while the user was actually banned or blocked. A page created before the ban or block does not qualify. To qualify, the edit must be a violation of the user's block or ban. For example, pages created by a topic-banned user may be deleted if they come under that particular topic, but not if they are in some other topic." Again, it says, "A page created before the ban or block does not qualify." These pages were all created before my block. I request that you restore them all or request restoration. I spent hours on all of these for you to delete them improperly. Thank You in Advance. Wikipenguin 8 (talk) 08:35, 12 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

It was created after your main account The Editor of All Things Wikipedia was blocked. I'm not even going to wander into wikilawyering whether it was you or your little brother, it's irrelevant at this point. Max Semenik (talk) 08:47, 12 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
