Noodle

edit

Hello! I saw the message you left for me on the [Noodle Talk page]--thank you. Please understand that I'm not attempting to be contentious; I'm simply following standard Wikipedia policy. In each of my reversions of your additions, I've specified in the edit summary why I'm removing the content. In this instance, and as I've noted on the Noodle talk page, the addition of social media sites is a violation of WP:ELNO. If you glance at that list, item #10 relates to what you are trying to add, and those links are generally to be avoided. Thus, I'm going to again remove those additions. Should you disagree, instead of adding the links back again, let's take this instead to a Wikipedia Mediator and avoid an edit war. Thanks! Transmissionelement (talk) 21:59, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Push Girls has been reverted.
Your edit here to Push Girls was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.facebook.com/pushgirls?ref=multimedia) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. File permission problem with File:Push-Girls-Group-Shot.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Push-Girls-Group-Shot.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 23:40, 26 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Push Girls. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. DoriTalkContribs 02:31, 27 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Push Girls, you may be blocked from editing. DoriTalkContribs 21:23, 29 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm KSFT. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Kanye West  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. KSFTC 23:28, 19 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
