This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Really, this is too slapdash. The assertion that "He is recognised as an expert in English church woodwork, especially carved chests and choir-stalls" is backed up with five references, but one is by Tracy (I didn't read it, but doubt that it says "I am an expert" or anything like it); one looks at first sight to be a book titled Afterword but actually is the afterword to a book of a different title; one is a search page from the V&A which (unexpectedly) does not call him an expert but merely cites him; one says that "[his] specialism is church woodwork and furniture" (OK); another does seem to say this but my connection was dropped in mid-download of the vast PDF, and it's an unpublished PhD thesis, something we really shouldn't be citing. This is all rather important, because elsewhere the draft says very little about Tracy's accomplishments. Yes, he's had all those books published, but in this draft only the single latest volume has any commentary attached. My hunch is that Tracy richly deserves an article; of course a draft does not need to be polished, but it really ought to be more persuasive than this. I trust that the second draft will be more convincing.
