Welcome to Wikipedia
editDon't take my deletion nomination of Highweek to heart. It's good to see others have taken up the cause and are trying to save it - and I have absolutely no objections to that. You seem to have grasped some of the basics of Wikipedia editing but perhaps you could still benefit from reading some of the welcome stuff, such as this:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Manual of Style
- WP:ELNO - my own personal hobby horse because I loathe spamming.
If you have any questions about editing Wikipedia I'd be happy to help. --Simple Bob a.k.a. The Spaminator (Talk) 22:42, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
- Wikwiltz Thank you for taking the time to reply. I will have a close look over those helpful links over this week to try and improve my editing. Much appreciated.
DYK for Highweek
editOn 3 March 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Highweek, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the parishioners of Highweek petitioned the pope for their own graveyard? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
