You say to merge to "main article." What "main article"? The character appears in two films and a novel. Saying it's "non-notable" is odd given that a Google Book search shows dozens of hits in secondary sources analyzing the novel and the characters while Google News shows dozens of hits reviewing the film and its characters. There's enough from interviews where development sections are realistic, as are reception sections, and comparisons from novel versus film. Please reconsider. Again there's Bridge to Terabithia (novel), Bridge_to_Terabithia_(1985_film), and Bridge to Terabithia (2007 film). The character article is relevant to all three of these. Yes, the main article would be the Novel which is the original work which references these characters. I consider the novel and the 2 movies all the same since they are all the same story, with slight variations for time and content of the movies. I would redirect to the original work which is the novel, and from there the movies can be referenced. Any and all content regarding these 2 characters can be merged with the novel article since there is a section for characters. Also, please respond or comment on the actual deletion discussion pages where it is appropriate in order to reveal this to everyone in order to discuss it, that's why they have the discussion boards. Also, saying the character appears in 1 book and 2 movies is misleading, it's still only one story and to state what you stated the way you stated is putting these characters on the same level of a character like Ramona Quimby who was the subject of 8 books and a tv series. The book is the main point of order for this story, and I would classify the movies as articles based on the Wikipedia:SPINOUT. I fail to see what value these character articles add over and above the article for the novels and books. Also, a movie review or a book review does not make the character notable, it might make the book or movie notable, but not the character and the same for the sources which analyze the book and story within the book, it makes the book notable, not the characters.WildWikiGuy (talk) 02:24, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Articles on the separate characters are good for us, because they allow for the realistic potential of including information on how the presentation of the characters change from medium to medium. Deleting the articles would be detrimental to our project because we have valuable mergeable and improveable content and as such would diminish our coverage of a notable topic and mybe even turn away the good faith volunteers who actually do write these and other articles.
