editI believe that Bobby Floyd is a notable artist and should have an article. Unfortunately, this draft will be rejected without some efforts to improve it as it currently is. I wish to assist you in this process.
Firstly, I would like to ask if you are an associate of the article’s subject, people close to him, or his employers. If so, you should report such connections with the process outlined at WP:DISCLOSE. Don’t worry – you may still submit your draft, the same as any other user.
Secondly, the following are pointers to help get your draft improved to the quality of an article:
- The article contains far too many listings of with who and where he has been active; Wikipedia is not a directory, and such information should only be included if it is in independent, reliable sources (i.e, excluding blogs and press releases)
- The lead section of the article is too long; the first paragraph alone contains enough information there for an article this large. The rest of the information on there would make more sense in a “Career” section.
- If all material nor cited to reliable sources in this article were razed right now, there wouldn’t be much left, but the good news is that Floyd has been covered extensively, particularly within Columbus, for a long time; a final version of this article could be longer than what it currently is.

- Hello,
- I noticed a live article has been created/posted on Wikipedia, for Bobby Floyd (Jazz Musician). You have been a tremendous help. There is a name edit that needs to be made. (Vince Andrews, instead of Jeff Andrews). Should I make this edit myself. Also, do you feel that It's OK for additional discography titles to be added.
- Regarding the article that is now live on Wikipedia, is it temporary, or do you think it will remain live? In other words, do I need to do anything else, other than minor edits, to insure that it remains visible on Wikipedia. Thanks so much for all of your assistance.
