Proposed deletion of To Traverse Water
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article To Traverse Water, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Fails to meet general notability guidelines.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. When creating new articles
editTry to look at similar ones to add categories - and make sure you find appropriate project templates for the talk page - SatuSuro 14:25, 28 April 2009 (UTC) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lunch_Box - lack of a project and category can raise WP:N or WP:V issues - well worth the effort to make as much an effort there as is the WP:RS SatuSuro 14:57, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, Satu's advice is very good. I've been formatting the articles you've created and adding cats etc. In the process, I became acquainted with some very interesting works. Thanks for writing them. Please feel free to contact me on my talk page if you have any questions or need help with future articles. If you're interested in opera in general, you might want to take a look at the Wikipedia Opera Project. There's loads of guidance for formatting and writing opera-related articles and a talk page for posting queries, etc. New members are very welcome! All the best, Voceditenore (talk) 16:55, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
Operas by Koukias Navbox
editHi, I've created the navbox as a template. When creating further articles on Koukias operas, simply add {{Koukias operas}} to the top of the page. The box can be edited to add new operas by clicking on the "e" at the bottom of the box. Any change made will then automatically appear in all articles which already have the template. Per the guideline at the Opera Project, navboxes contain only blue links. When the articles have been written for MIKROVION - 36 Images in a Phantom Flux of Life and The Divine Kiss, the titles can be added to the box by editing the template. Any questions, give me shout. Best, Voceditenore (talk) 05:22, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Operas by Koukias Navbox - thanks
editI am still learning and short of time but thank you so much for all your help. I really appreciate it. I will try to spend a few hours soon learning more about how things function. Winifred Lake (talk) 06:16, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi, if you're wondering what was going on there today, an editor not associated with WikiProject Opera, randomly and inexplicably edited out the photograph and moved the navbox to the bottom of the page. I've reverted those edits. In the process, I also converted the template {{Koukias operas}} to a collapsible navbox format to which all Category:Operas by composer templates with photos will eventually move. See: WikiProject Opera [1]. If you add new operas to it, just follow the formatting of the existing ones in the template. Best wishes Voceditenore (talk) 06:01, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Constantine Koukias.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Constantine Koukias.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Redsky89 (talk) 07:42, 29 December 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 22
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Constantine Koukias, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Barbarians (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:54, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Constantine Koukias.jpg
editA tag has been placed on File:Constantine Koukias.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
